The 2025 Comedy Festival brought many laughs and plenty of entertainment to Jamestown, and our team was thrilled to volunteer and be part of it once again!

We’ve been volunteering at the festival since 2019, and this year was no exception—whether we were greeting guests at the information booth, helping out in the museums, or serving up drinks at the Block Party, we enjoyed every moment of the fun and energy.

Yesterday we hit the ballpark with a few of our top-performing agents to catch a Syracuse Mets game in celebration of their success during our March–May Commercial Lines contest! ⚾️

Even though the game got rained out after the 5th inning, that didn’t stop us from enjoying the evening! Plenty of laughs, valuable conversations, and genuine connections!

On Wednesday, we had the pleasure of treating a few of our top-performing agents to a Buffalo Bisons game as a token of appreciation for their outstanding efforts during our Commercial Lines contest, which ran from March through May. ⚾️

It was a beautiful day at the ballpark—filled with sunshine, laughter, and meaningful conversations. We loved having the opportunity to connect outside the office in such a fun and relaxed setting.

We were honored that Cassandra Anderson and Bob Farley stopped by Chautauqua Patrons Insurance Company as part of NYIA’s Western New York road trip. It was a pleasure connecting and having the opportunity to share more about the work we’re doing here at CPIC. Thank you to the NYIA team for including us on the journey. Fast Fixes for Ice Dams as Temperatures Rise! ❄️➡️💧

With the weather starting to warm up, now is the perfect time for home and property owners to tackle lingering ice dams before they cause leaks and damage. Here are some quick fixes:

✅ Use a Roof Rake: Gently remove excess snow from your roof to prevent more ice buildup.

✅ Create Drainage Channels: Carefully melt small pathways in the ice dam using calcium chloride (never rock salt, as it can damage shingles).

✅ Check Your Gutters: Clear out debris so melting ice and snow can drain properly.

✅ Temporary Heat Solutions: A box fan in the attic or applying heat cables can help melt stubborn ice dams safely.
