It was a good day !! After trapping Elsa in Cochranton this morning , Jeff Johnson, the DCO of Gerry NY, reached out and asked if we could trap a pup in Sinclairville NY..It had been running with another dog which he was able to capture. I set up the box trap and he was in there within an hour and a half !!! Thank goodness because he was running in and out of a busy road for a couple of days. If anyone knows anything about these two dogs, they were found on Sinclair drive in Sinclairville NY and are at the Chautauqua county humane society. This beautiful girl is Elsa. She was just adopted by Nate Slawson and Shania McMaster. She came out of a foster home and was typically skittish. Within twenty four hours, Elsa escaped, while Shania was preparing to let her outside on a run.
She snuck through the door when Shania opened it and took off. For the last two days, she would travel 1-2 miles but was returning back home in the mornings which is typical for a dog that went missing from an area they are not familiar with. Shania spotted her this morning and went out and set on the ground. And tried to lure her, but she went behind the barn and disappeared. So she rebated the missy trap that we set up there yesterday because all of the kitties cleand it out last night and this morning lol...
And then she went to work. Once things, quieted down, Elsa appeared again about an hour and a 1/2 later. Laid down in front of the trap and had a snack lol, and then she got up and went into the trap !!! Thank you Grandma for going over immediately to calm her and Ty Nate for helping with the trap yesterday. Welcome back to your new home with your 2 new fur siblings. A friend of mine is fostering a bonded of pair of beautiful pit bulls that came from a neglect situation. They are approximately three years old. 1 male and 1 female. These dogs are up for adoption. They seem to be a very loving pair who cuddle together every night. If you know of anyone looking to adopt these 2 pups, please private message me and I will get you in touch with the foster. All of the shelters are full and cannot accept them. Please share this post so we can reach as many people as possible to try to find these dogs a home. Thank you

Very happy reunion !!! Both dogs are home and safe now. Poor little Jake, is moving pretty slow, his feet and legs are so sore from walking in the woods for 7 days . He finally came out of the woods on Fox hill road where Jim Kanaan dog started barking, and Jim looked down and saw Jake walking up the road and was able to lure him with treats and keep him there until Jerry and Deb got there. Thank you Jim ❤️ Jake was so happy to see Mom and Dad 🥰 No more hikes in the woods for you Jake and Bea, you are grounded for some time !!! Jerry and Deb, it was a pleasure meeting you, and Im so glad your pups are home safe and sound. I must say I meet the nicest people while doing this work. ❤️🐾

UPDATE #2 : PRAYERS ANSWERED, LITTLE JAKE IS HOME !!! Jake finally came out of the woods on Fox hill road and a gentleman's dog alerted him and Jake was standing in the road and he was able to lure him with some food and call the owners. Thank you so much to Jim Kanaan for capturing him. What a wonderful outcome and as always Thank you God for saving this handome boy 🥰!!
UPDATE: this is day 8 that Jake went Into the woods behind his house on Lilac lane, not one single sighting. His owners have been combing the woods daily, and 4 of us went out and searched another section of the woods yesterday. No signs or sightings at all !! Please if anyone knows or has seen anyone pick up a beagle in the Blueberry golf course area, please message or call us. It is possible that he is still in the woods as he has some medical problems. 🙏
Jake is still lost in the woods near Blueberry golf course in Russell Pennsylvania. He has been missing from Lilac lane since Friday without any sightings. These are very large woods in which he went straight into from his yard. His owners Jerry and Deborah Mattison say that he gets winded when he walks very far, he has some medical problems. We went up and posted signs around the area tonight, then drove all over hoping for a sighting of Jake. It may take him a while to get out of the woods and get on a road or to somebody's house. If anyone sees him, please don't call out or chase. Just get low to the ground. Then talk softly to him. Then throw him some food.Because everyone knows beagles are very food motivated . If anyone knows anybody who owns land in this area and has trail cams, please ask them to check them for us. Presumably dumped, this little beauty has been hanging around South Main Street ext for a few days. She has had a litter of pups not to long ago. No one seems to be looking for her. Tracy M Horner found out about this dog and had her in her sights, but she was so scared and wouldn't come to her. She called me and I threw my trap in the truck and Kim Cusimano and I headed there right away. We located her again ,I drove by her slowly and tossed out some hotdogs , she started eating which gave me time to park the truck ahead and then get on the ground. She eventually came close enough to eat out of my hand but there was so much traffic and she would shy away again, so I set the trap right on the side of the road and baited it up good. She didn't go in at first so I walked over there and put in some better, more smelly food into the trap, and that did the trick. She walked right in then, we had her !! 👏She was a very scared little mama. She's a beautiful small little pit boxer mix, and she has the most gorgeous markings !!! She is at Pick of the litter . Thank you Patty for taking her in on such short notice, you're the best and thank you Tracy for being right on this !!! No more waiting in the same spot for your people to come back, they don't deserve you. We hope your second time around will be with a family who loves you and won't discard you like a piece of trash 🙏🐾❤️ See video in comments and please share post to see if anyone recognizes her.

Little Paco is home safe !!! This little 15-year-old went missing from her home in Sheffield, Pennsylvania 5 days ago !!!
There were only 2 sightings of her one, which was last night on very busy route 6, about a quarter, a mile from the Dollar General. Jack Passinger Jr. and his wife Gina , immediately went to the sighting, but Paco was nowhere to be found. So today I met them at the the Dollar General, and they showed me where the sighting was. And as we pulled up, I looked up in the yard, and there was Paco coming around the house. Jack hadn't seen her yet, so when he got out of the car, I motioned that there she was and asked him to get low to the ground he did, and he talked softly to her, she looked at him trying to figure out who he was but then turned around and went into a little wooded section. I threw the trap down in the yard, baited it up, threw out some scent, real quick. Thinking that she would come back out of the little wooded area when she smelled something but she eventually crossed the road the and went down in a ravine that runs along the railroad tracks. I went into the ravine because it was very thick, thinking that I might be able to corner her in some thick brush, because she's very old and was moving pretty slowly, but she was able to get through the brush and over the tracks and out into a parking lot. So before I knew this, I asked Jack to drive down around the other side of the tracks and check out the parking lot, as he was going in he saw her and she was heading back towards me. I happened to see him holding his jacket up in the air and moving slowly towards something so I hurried down there, and Gina was in back of the dog. Jack was in front of the dog. Which was perfect, because he was upwind from her and she smelled his scent, and she went right to him thankfully. She's a little thin, but she's in pretty good shape, and she was very, very happy to have been found. No more scary, stormy nights for you, honey.🥹 see video in comments

🐾 Update, this pup is being fostered now for the time being . 🐾

This is the beautiful black lab that I trapped Kennedy, New York a few weeks ago. He has been at a boarding kennel now because no shelters are available or or they just won't take him for whatever reason. He is a very scared little boy and is going to need some socialization. And patience, hopefully a rescue, will come forward and take him in, so he will become adoptable.

This big, beautiful boy who's name is Bobo, Is safe at Paws Along the River Humane Society . He's been running the streets at fourth and water street in Warren, Pennsylvania, for 3 to 4 days. We found out that he was recently rehomed, and that the son was walking the dog then he got away, and they just let him go, he was hanging around their house, but no one was letting him in. People said that he was crossing the river and swimming over onto the island just to get away from people. So when I got there last night to set up food station and camera, one of the neighbors who had given me some good information, ran over and said he's on the back porch right now, at the home that he went missing from . So I went over there and knelt down and tossed him some hot dogs. He came over to eat them. But then something spooked him and he ran back to water street and up 2 long blocks. Meanwhile, one of our Dames, Linda Jordan Loomis called me and said he's right in front of my car, and some woman has him.
So I made my way up there and Linda and the homeowner had him contained. Turns out, this woman was the previous owner, and only lived two blocks up the street. So we took possession of Bobo. Paws along the river had been out looking for him multiple times yesterday and we happened to run into and employee as we were leaving and she met us there to get him into the shelter. Thanks to all of the very concerned neighbors for their help and to Paws along the river for being right on this . Bobo is the most gentle giant and so beautiful, please if anyone is a great dane person, please go visit him after his quarantine period. Bobo, you don't have to swim over to the island for safety anymore, we hope you get a great home soon ❤️🥹🙏🐾

This lab is being transferred to a private foster where he can get the undivided one on one attention he needs! He is still quite timid, still working on even using a leash, so I feel it's in his best interest at this time ~ I will keep my list of those interest which is nearly 20!

I am officially overwhelmed with responses here, I have a list, there is a couple meet and greets set this weekend and I will follow up with those who have messaged......

I have this beautiful, young black lab who is really in need of a home!! Time is running slim and shelters are overwhelmed right now! He needs to get out of the shelter life and shown love!! Please message me for more information!!
