Petunia unexpectedly became paralyzed and was diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease. After an emergency surgery, she began to recover and has since regained her ability to walk! A grant from the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation meant that Petunia could get the care she needed to improve her quality of life. By her first birthday, Noveske had lost all of her vision due to detached retinas and cataracts in both eyes. After confirming Noveske needed major surgery, her mom applied for a medical grant and the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation was happy to assist.
