When training your dog, sometime a higher value reward needs to be considered. Try using cheese as a higher value paycheck for your dog.⁠
Cheese makes a fantastic treat for your dog as long as they isn't lactose intolerant, which a small percentage of dogs are. Make sure to monitor your dog's reaction after feeding them small amounts of cheese. Opt for low- or reduced-fat varieties and don't overfeed, as many cheese types can be high in fat.⁠

This is super sweet baby girl Bailey, a HUGE Mastiff 💕Truly such a sweetheart and so full of love. ♥️ She's a COVID dog which means she didn't received the socialization needed to help create well balanced dog. Although it's not funny... it's funny to see her fear and be scared of my 15 year old, 10 lbs chihuahua lol 😂 She's such a HUGE girl and runs behind mom's back and between her legs when she sees this little old dog. But it's also not funny to think of the emotion she must feel to be that terrified of other dogs. ⁠

Continue to stayed tuned on Bailey's story as we watch her blossom and open up to the world. She slowly starting to accept dogs, maybe have friends and even maybe a sibling? Does she learn how to be a dog?⁠

80% of the cats I pet sit are never seen. This means, I tend to their food, water and litter box. I never see them or pet them. They simply hide from me. 😪⁠
This means, I get to lay on the TLC to ONLY 10% of the cats I sit!⁠
This is MUFFIN and she's in the top 1% of the best of the best! ♥️🐾😻⁠
She is the MOST affectionate cat EVER!! She will NOT leave your lap and she'll fight to STAY on your lap. She's also very vocal when she wants your lap. If I had a cat, I'd want it to be just like her. 💙🐾⁠

So first, their names are ridiculously adorable ♥️🥰🐾 LUCY and RICKY... Please tell me you know what that is in reference to?!?!⁠
Seeing them play and cuddle together is just way too cute. Seriously... CUTENESS OVERLOAD!!!⁠

These 2 have completely opposite personalities. Which means they shouldn't be trained the same way. Lucy is straight up bull dog. Like a bit of a bully. Common in COVID dogs like her, she's a bit reactive and we're working on it... she's made milestones and I'm so proud of her. She's super great at her basic manners.⁠
Ricky is starting to have learned behavior but is naturally more calm. We're now working on his basic manners.⁠
I absolutely love ♥️ and enjoy working with these two soooo much. I can't wait to see them again. 🐾🐶💙⁠

Many of you have heard me explain what board and train is and why I would NEVER recommend one.

1. A board and train is a facility where you drop your dog off to be trained for X amount of weeks and pick them up fully trained.
2. In this specific area, there's 9 facilities and every single one of them uses shock collars (they don't tell you that nor would you ever know that looking at the place)
3. You can NEVER trust what's going on behind closed doors
4. Training your dog is about developing communication between each other and creating a trust and a bond between each other. Why would you want to loose that life investment opportunity with your dog?

Rondo is now 15 years old: We adopted him from at 4 years old⁠⁠
Harley Quinn is 15 years old: We adopted her from at 13 years old⁠⁠
Max is 9 years old and a client could no longer keep him⁠⁠
Rex was found in a parking lot at 6 months old and we took him in, he's now 4 years old after going from 3 other homes between 6 months and 4 years old. ⁠⁠
