Our Story

Beaches Animal Clinic was the first animal hospital to open at Jacksonville Beach back in 1959. Dr. Conrad Williams opened Beaches Animal Clinic and was joined 3 years later by Dr. Ted Puffinburger. For 14 years, it was the only clinic at the beach. In 1984, Dr. William Daniel joined the practice. Following the retirement of Dr. Williams and Dr. Puffinburger, Dr. Daniel bought the clinic. Then in July of 1995, Dr. Nancy Ramirez came on board and has been practicing with Dr. Daniel for close to 25 years! Our goal is, and always has been, to provide the best quality care for your pet. In 2000 and 2001, Jacksonville Magazine did a city wide poll of "Favorites," and Beaches Animal Clinic was selected as "Favorite Veterinarian" both years. In 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, Beaches Animal Clinic was also voted "Favorite Veterinarian" by The Beaches Leader. We are very proud of that and believe it reflects in our motto: "We treat your pets as if they were our own." Call 904-246-2045 for an appointment.
