Happy holidays, everyone! 🎄✨

I wanted to catch you up on what's been happening behind the scenes at the shop. The past few weeks have been quite the adventure—we've navigated through a challenging heat issue, followed quickly by a water system malfunction. 🔥💧 While it might sound stressful, I'm happy to report that we've successfully resolved both problems. 🎉

As for our ongoing shop remodel, we're prepareing to install our new stove. It's all part of the process of making our workspace better than ever. 🛠️🔧

Important update: We are STILL OPEN for business! 🐶✂️ We continue to welcome new pups for grooming and are ready to pamper your furry friends as usual. Don't let our minor setbacks stop you from booking an appointment! 🐾

Your continued support means the world to me during these transitions. We're looking forward to emerging stronger and more efficient in the new year. 🌟

Sometimes the best days are the unplanned ones! While today was meant to be a day off, fate had other ideas when 5 adorable pups showed up as walk-ins. Though I only managed to snap a couple photos between appointments, my heart is full knowing we could be there for these sweet pets when they needed us. It's moments like these that remind me why I love what I do – even on my 'day off'! ✨🐾

Tonight, I met Ghost – and my heart both broke and soared. For three lonely years, this gentle soul knew nothing but life outdoors, just existing with the basics of food and water, but starved of the love and care every dog deserves. The moment his new mom brought him in, even though we were about to close, I knew I'd stay as long as needed. One look into those eyes, and time simply didn't matter anymore.

As I worked with Ghost, giving him what was likely his first warm bath, treating his painful ear infections, and gently working through years of matted fur, I was moved to tears by his incredible trust. Despite never experiencing these sensations before, despite the discomfort, he remained so patient, so gentle – as if he somehow knew we were there to help him start his new life.

This is exactly why I became a groomer. Not for the business, not for the money – I didn't even charge for the antifungal bath, flea treatment, or de-matting – but for moments like these. Moments when I can be part of transforming a forgotten dog's life into one filled with love and care. Watching Ghost leave with his new mom, clean, comfortable, and already so bonded, I saw everything I believe in come full circle. This beautiful boy isn't just getting a home; he's finally getting the life he always deserved, and I'm so grateful to have been part of his journey's beginning. 💗

Some dogs leave paw prints not just on our floors, but on our hearts. Ghost is one of them.
