Bella and Tori are a deeply bonded pair of sisters around 4–5 years old who are looking for a calm, loving home together.
These two have been through a lot of change recently. They were originally adopted together as kittens and spent their entire lives together with the same owner. Sadly, after their owner passed a few weeks ago, they had to come back to the shelter. 💔
The transition has been understandably difficult for them both. In the beginning were unsure and a little shut down while trying to make sense of a completely new environment after years of stability. It was difficult to find a food they would eat, but after being in contact with their former cat-sitter, we learned they ate Fancy Feast brand foods. Once we were able to get some of that, they finally began eating more.
Keeping them together is non-negotiable, as their bond is a major source of comfort for both girls. After everything they’ve been through, they’ll likely do best in a quieter home where they can continue to decompress and build confidence together. They may not be “instant connection” cats right now, but they become incredibly rewarding companions who seek out comfort and closeness 🥰
