Bella Needs a Hero by 6/22 ❤️
Bella desperately needs someone to give her a chance.
This sweet girl is struggling in the shelter. While other dogs bark and rush the kennel doors, Bella shrinks away. She trembles, tucks her tail, avoids eye contact, and retreats when people approach. The shelter is simply too overwhelming for her, and with each passing day she seems to become more fearful and unsure.
What makes Bella's story so heartbreaking is that she tries so hard. She wants to trust. She gently takes treats from people's hands. She checks back in on walks. She allows soft pets and quietly follows her handlers. When given a calm space away from the noise, you can see glimpses of the dog she's trying to be. But every time she returns to her kennel, the fear comes rushing back.
Bella needs to leave the shelter by June 22 at 5:00 PM.
