A recent study by the AVMA looked into the frequency of patient-inflicted injuries in small animal general practices in the U.S. and Canada. This study looked at 113 practices and found evidence that Fear-Free Certified practices saw significantly lower numbers of injuries occurring when compared to practices where either none, or only a portion of their staff was trained in these stress-reducing methods.

Happy 8th anniversary of our clinic becoming Fear-Free certified. This step helped us to become the clinic we are today. Arthritis can be present in all different ages of animals. Some animals have underlying conditions that can cause arthritis to begin affecting them sooner in life. Arthritis can be present after various injuries as well. It is not just older pets that suffer from this pain.

Earlier this week we met the sweetest working boy! Arrow is a certified Search and Rescue dog, and so smart! We loved getting to spend time with him, and seeing him hop up on the counter had us all amazed!
