A recent study by the AVMA looked into the frequency of patient-inflicted injuries in small animal general practices in the U.S. and Canada. This study looked at 113 practices and found evidence that Fear-Free Certified practices saw significantly lower numbers of injuries occurring when compared to practices where either none, or only a portion of their staff was trained in these stress-reducing methods.
