I have received several phone calls for roadkill this summer. I will not take anything with this heat. The likelihood that the fur will slip (fall out) is high, especially in these temps. Laying on hot concrete or stone will only make it worse. Please keep this in mind before you spend money on a tag for these animals. I can also say that the fur is probably not optimal as well since the fur is usually the fullest in the winter.

Hen and drake team done up and sent home! This is a good example of making lemonade out of lemons! Wings were a bit shot up on the hen, so she is sitting and feathers missing on the back of the drake, so he is coming in for a landing! Reminder, sometimes sweet tea is best! 😆 🤣
