PENDING ADOPTION

Checkers is a 1-year-old fixed Schnauzer mix who is available for applications today and meet and greets / adoptions tomorrow 4/15.

He is likely good with dogs and dog-savvy cats. He’s under socialized and hasn’t lived with or met other animals before starting the Idaho K9 Academy but he has no reaction during training.

We are looking for an adult-only home as he’s being rehomed for nipping at small kids. The ideal home would be one that could show this little fellow some patience as he is still learning how to be the best dog and will open up to you beautifully once he gets to know you.

He adores Robert, his dog trainer, but has a history of preferring women.
