I’m a sucker for the softer dogs. The dogs that have the confidence in them, but haven’t been shown where it is. The dogs that really want to please you, but need a little extra reassurance as they figure out how. These are the dogs I get to watch transform in front of me as they realize they can do hard things. I’m working with Liv here from Elevated K9 Working Dog Rescue! She might not have the high energy s***k you typically see from a Dutch Shepherd, but she has the willingness, and that’s all we need to help make her successful!

Happy Fourth of July! We hope everyone has a fun and safe Independence Day, pets and humans! We know this can be a stressful time of year for pet owners, and many dogs and cats end up lost and/or in the shelter. Make sure you’re taking all the precautions to keep your furry friends at home and safe. If you need resources or guidances on things like microchips, crate training, anxiety, etc to get a head start on next year, please reach out!

One week down, 3 more to go! Sapphire is just a cannonball when she comes running at you, fortunately running isn’t her forte. We’ve got a routine going, strict boundaries, and lots of repetitions! So she’s already a lot calmer than when she came in🙌🏻
