North Alabama ā you showed up for your community, and you showed up big.
On October 18th, New Hope was wrapped in compassion, patience, and an unmistakable spirit of neighbors helping neighbors. Yes, we created a little traffic jam (oops!), but every minute of waiting meant one more family getting the support they needed to keep their pets safe, healthy, and home for the holidays.
And because of YOU ā something incredible happened. šš¾
⨠Nearly 200 pets received free rabies vaccines, thanks to the unwavering generosity of Petco Love, helping keep animals protected and preventing disease before it starts.
⨠Over 500 animals received flea & tick prevention through our amazing partners at HAWS, giving pets relief and families peace of mind heading into winter.
⨠Hundreds of pounds of pet food were distributed by the Greater Huntsville Humane Society, easing the burden for families doing everything they can to care for their animals.
⨠SNAPās spay/neuter support and HAWSā alteration program gave families the tools to break the cycle ā because real rescue starts long before a pet reaches a shelter.
Standing there on October 18th, watching cars wrap around the block, we felt something weāll never forget:
People lifting people.
A community choosing compassion.
Hope, patience, generosity ā even in the middle of a little beautiful chaos.
Rescue isnāt just pulling dogs from shelters.
Itās keeping families together.
Itās preventing suffering before it starts.
Itās meeting people where they are ā with dignity, love, and care.
New Hope, thank you for reminding us what true community looks like.
Together, weāre writing a story of hope ā one vaccine, one bag of food, one tail wag at a time.
This is rescue.
This is Alabama.
This is us ā changing lives together.
