🌞🌞🌞 LAYLA 🌞🌞🌞

Layla is a sweetheart of a pittie mix around 6 months old and 30lbs. Her owner had a devastating accident which left her owner unable to walk and one of our volunteers reached out to see if we could help. She has been with her owner since she was 6 weeks old and she could really use a foster or adopter. The shelter is definitely a tough place for her to be.

Layla has lived in a home with a dog and a cat. She is excitable due to still having some puppy energy, so very small children may get bumped so we would recommend a home with children a little older. Layla is very affectionate and loves to snuggle with people which makes it so easy to fall in love with her quickly! She is house trained and leash trained. She has a beautiful soft subtle brindle coat and the most loving eyes.

💋💋💋 GEMMA 💋💋💋

This sweet girl is one of the most beautiful souls. Gemma has had a tough past, but now that she's with us, we are working on getting her skin taken care of and letting her beautiful grey and white coat grow back in. The way Gemma looks at you is so loving and innocent. All the volunteers say it's like she's looking at your soul and so in love. She is such a snuggle bug and is dog friendly. She is definitely ready to settle down with a family that will love and cherish her for being the amazing girl that she is. Gemma is an excellent car rider and nap taker! She is also dog friendly with males and females of all sizes. She is also potty trained and crate trained.

Please note: Gemma does have environmental allergies that affect her skin and she requires an allergy shot every 3 months. She also requires a specific diet to keep her allergies at bay.

🤎🤎🤎 FUDGE 🤎🤎🤎

Fudge was out on the town last night attending a local market and dinner on a dog friendly patio! He is literally the whole package for someone who wants their dog to go everywhere with them. He loves hiking the trails, playing in the creek, hanging out in public, and snuggling up at home!

He's a pointer/chocolate lab mix around 1.5 years old and has an amazing temperament. He's a dog social boy and loves the outdoors. He is potty trained and crate trained, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and heartworm negative. This boy is the whole package and we know his family is out there!

🏈🏈🏈 KEVIN 🏈🏈🏈

Oh my heart his little pink nose and little pink toe beans just turn us all into a puddle of mush at rescue! This little boy was dumped... we will never understand it. But, this is where we get to change the course of his life, and find a family to love him unconditionally. Kevin is so sweet, cuddly, and lovable. He's a tiny little sweet pea around 10-12 lbs and maybe 3 months old.

💜💜💜 GRACIE 💜💜💜

Gracie is a sweetie around 1 year old. She came to us scared with 4 pups. Her pups have since gone up north to be adopted, however, Gracie girl stayed with us. She is fully grown at around 35lbs. She is full of s***k, gentleness, and an occasional zoomie! She has the funniest and sweetest personality. She will have some bursts of playtime in the let out yard, then run to you for love, hugs, and belly rubs! She has the cutest personality and would love to show you at a meet and greet! She is dog friendly and does well in small or large groups of males and females. We are unsure about cats as we have no way to test.

She has recently been in a foster home and has gotten along with every dog she's met! She has a very sweet and welcoming demeanor towards dogs and warms up quickly to humans once she sees you're a good one! She is potty trained and crate trained.

Gracie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Unfortunately she is heartworm positive and has begun treatment. Don't let that deter you as heartworms are not contagious, and only contracted through infected mosquitoes when not on a heartworm preventative. We are happy to assist Gracie's future adopter with treatments if needed.

⚽️⚽️⚽️ JASPER ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Jasper is estimated to be around 6 months old and is full of playful energy and charm. While he may have once been timid, those days are behind him. Jasper is now a happy, rambunctious pup who loves to play and explore. He would thrive in a home with another fun-loving dog to wrestle and run with, or an active human companion who enjoys playtime as much as he does.

He may have some Australian Shepherd or Retriever in his mix, but like many strays, that’s just a guess. What we do know is that he is smart, social, and has a heart as big as his paws.

Jasper has previously done well in a foster home with both a dog and a cat, and he clearly enjoys the company of other animals. He continues to grow in confidence and loves affection once he has had a chance to bond.

Cosmo is a sweet shepherd mix around 7m-1 year old. He was in a rural shelter and his time was up, so he came to be with us to avoid euthanasia. He is such a smart and sweet boy. He is athletic and loving. He would make an excellent dog to go on hikes or adventures. He loves new smells and places. He seems confident for a youngster which is great for exploring new things together! He also seems to read your energy well and loves to cuddle if you are in a relaxed mood and he loves to play if you're in a playful mood!

Shiloh is a sweetheart black lab mix that is around 2 years old. She is very dog friendly and enjoys let outs with other dogs at rescue. She is playful and loving and has previously lived in a home so she is crate trained and potty trained. Going from a home to rescue can be tough so we'd love to find her a loving place to land for good. She is such a sweetheart, and would do wonderful as a hiking companion, playing in the backyard with your pack, and snuggling up in the evening.

🌿🌿🌿 MISTLETOE 🌿🌿🌿

Mistletoe came to us around Christmas. We saw her cold and alone at the end of a chain and couldn't bear to pass her by. Her name reflects when she was rescued, but this sweet girl is so much more than a holiday story. She is a symbol of resilience, hope, and the healing power of love.

Now about 1 to 1.5 years old and weighing around 35 to 40 pounds, Mistletoe is making up for lost time. She soaks up affection and thrives on human connection. Mistletoe adores people and is learning what it means to be truly loved. After a rough start in life, she is ready to be the center of someone’s world. She prefers to be the only pet in the home, eager to receive all the attention and affection for herself, and she gives it back with devotion and joy.

She is:
-Spayed
-Up to date on vaccinations
-Heartworm positive (already in treatment, which is non-contagious, and we will continue to support her care)
-Potty trained and crate trained

Like many dogs who have experienced instability, Mistletoe is working on building confidence that her people will always come back. She can become anxious when left alone, so a calm home with a consistent routine will help her feel safe. A work-from-home family or someone who is home often would be ideal while she continues to build trust and settle in.
