Bernie's Buddies is a 501(c)3 dog & cat rescue in Huntington, WV, that operates solely on donations & volunteers.We also take in guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, hamsters, rats, and some reptiles,depending on need and space.We are on hold for dogs currently We are a small organization that works to eliminate euthanasia at local shelters by finding reputable rescues to accept local animals also with

We need your help and support again. We have been asked to help a partner rescue in Cincinnati with a hoarding case. They are a larger rescue that has helped and continues to help us with our cat population, but they are not set up or familiar with pocket pets. We will be taking in 5 rabbits from that case. We will also be receiving 2 ferrets. In addition, we have 5 more rabbits on our waitlist. Below are the links to our wish lists, ways to donate, and applications to adopt and to foster.
