📣Building Update! 📣
We had a donor who stepped up and is willing to match dollar-for-dollar up to $2,500. We have gone out to see the building and are in communication with the current owner. We are so grateful to everyone who has donated so far. We could not do this without the support of our community.

🚨🚨Urgent Large Plea! 🚨🚨
As a rescue, we have always strived to remain independent and not have to rely on boarding (which can get expensive quickly) to house our animals while they wait for their forever homes. We have a strong network of fosters who help us reach that goal, but we now have the opportunity we need to act fast on. We have the chance to purchase a small building. It is an amazing opportunity that has presented itself, but we need to be able to move quickly to increase our chances. We would still have to place dogs in foster homes or boarding at our veterinary office, but we would be able to hold cats and pocket pets until foster homes, adopters, or partners become available. The reason this is so special and fast-moving is that the building comes with an AC and heater unit, plus land, for only $7,000. This is a lot, but considering we would not have to do anything to the building or hook anything up, it is a great offer. We need to act fast. We know this is an incredible ask of our followers, but we promise we will make it up to you and your business. We will mention you in weekly posts to support your business, share your posts, and even name a space in our building after you. Don’t forget that all donations are tax-deductible.

PUPPIES! We still have 2 that need their forever home! Extremely sweet and affectionate, have done well with all the kids that have come in the store.
Full of puppy energy but will still sleep at the drop of a hat.

Hello all! We have another incredibly exciting announcement to make!!
We have begun our ROUND UP program!! Now on all transactions, you can share some love to many great local charities by rounding up your change!! You can round up, or donate as much as you’d like, and ALL DONATIONS will go to the three amazing charities, Bernie’s Buddies and Advocates, the Huntington Food Bank, and The Salvation Army - Angel Tree Program in Huntington!
We are also asking for physical donations of any NONPERISHABLE food that we can send to the Huntington Food Bank to ensure everyone can have a meal this month. So, dig out your cans, grab an extra peanut butter at the store, and BE THE CHANGE WE NEED!
Every little bit matters, and if each one of us can give even a little it can make WAVES for those in need. We must protect our community, and that begins with YOU!
