We are still looking for more fosters! Every day, we are receiving requests for surrender, requests for assistance, requests for transfers from shelters but we can't help without fosters. There is a foster shortage with no signs of stopping. We feel it, and innocent souls are suffering because of it, until something changes. We need fosters! Long term and short term fosters willing to foster senior, special needs, and dogs in hospice.

We provide the support, you provide the attention, time, and security these dogs so desperately need and deserve! Please see our foster application below and if you cannot foster, share this with that animal lover in your life and help us, help them!

Happy $6 Senior Friday!

Thankfully about a month ago we saw a surge in donations however that did not last. We know the economy is not great and gas prices are crazy. Times are tough for alot of us right now. So anything you can spare for this senior rescue is greatly appreciated. It means that our dogs can receive the care they need and we don't have to worry about whether or not we will have enough in donations to cover everything. Your donation makes a difference.

Rush had his vet appointment this past Friday and I am so happy to report that he is doing much better in terms of his overall mobility! The twins had a photoshoot Sunday morning, and he was moving around like that limp never happened. It seems like we finally found a good regimen for him, and we are so happy that he is feeling better. He does have a heart murmur that requires daily medications, but he is happy boy regardless and enjoying life!

The very best news to start your Monday morning with and that is that Junior has found himself a forever home! The last of the fab foursome has found a home and we could not be happier. He is such an AMAZING little senior, so it was quite surprising that he had not been snatched up but finally his time has come and we could not ask for a better family. Junior will now live out his days in beautiful Austin and can expect some fun adventures ahead!

Happy $6 Senior Friday!

As of recent, we have received more funding which is always greatly appreciated because it means that we won't have to worry about how we are going to cover the cost of care. But this increase in funding comes after months and months of struggle. Last year we experienced a decrease in funding that we were hoping would not extend into 2026 but it has and with the way this economy is headed, it appears the struggle is here to stay for a while.

The need however does not stop whether funding is there or not. We still need to be there for our dogs and that is what we have been doing for over 5 years now with no plans of stopping anytime soon. Therefore, we need you to help us keep this mission alive and thriving. Please contribute, any amount makes a difference!
