It’s hard to believe that the SIRE Under the Stars gala was happening this time last Saturday! It was a magical night with the ballroom of The Houstonian packed full during dinner, the live auction and the amazing performance by Jackopierce It's certainly one for the history books.

Thank you to the Presenting Sponsors - Lupe Tortilla and Andi and Peter Holt. Thank you to every individual, family and corporation who donated and was in attendance. We could not do what we do without your support.

This introduction is way overdo, but better late than never. Give a warm welcome to Blake! He arrived at the Spring site back in October 2024 and officially became a TR horse in January 2025. He has taken his job in stride by helping our riders who are working on becoming more independent.

Before arriving at SIRE, he was a hunter/jumper up in the DFW area. The only “jumps” he will see here are the ground poles he walks over. We are glad to have this handsome boy be a part of our herd.

Get out the corsages and boutonnieres – it's Pony Prom time! We have three beautiful mares from Fort Bend for our queen nominees and three handsome geldings from Spring for our king nominees. Now it’s up to you to decide on who will be crowned Pony Prom King and Queen.

Don’t these geldings look handsome? We sure think so! All four of these horses are in need of a horse sponsor. It could be you! Your sponsorship includes feed, supplements, veterinary care and farrier care (including shoes!).

When you sponsor for half a year, look for your name on our website and social media and a keepsake photo of your horse. When you sponsor for a full year you receive recognition on the website, social media, a keepsake photo PLUS a site tour and 30 minute grooming session with your sponsored horse.

What perfect weather we had for our show day out at Highbury Farms. This offsite show was new for SIRE and we were thrilled that our friends over at JoyRide Center could join us.

The last few weeks our riders have been learning some new skills. Today they put all of that hard work into practice by riding dressage tests or doing hunter/jumper courses.

The smiling faces say it all – fun was had all around! Thank you to everyone who made this show a success.

In those three years, approximately 150 veterans have gone through the ever-evolving EAL curriculum developed by Debbie Blackmon, MA, LPA-IP and coordinated by Tynea Riggleman, MS, LPC-Associate.

We have volunteer opportunities as side walkers (no horse experience necessary and responsible for offering support to the rider for the lesson) or horse leader (horse experience required, responsible for leading the horse during class).

It was amazing to have Grace Church of Humble out today for their Day of Service. Over 80 members graced us with their presence and tackled some big projects, such as building stall runs and giving the middle pasture pipe fence a fresh coat of paint.

Thank you Edward Jones for coming out today for their Day of Caring! Every year during the week of March 23rd their employees go out to different places to give back to the community.

Today the group put fresh shavings in stalls, organized our file room, disassembled and moved an obstacle we no longer use on the trail course and made our stalls look brand new! We are excited to have Edwards Jones out again next year.
