With a combined tenure of 20 years, these three gentle grays would love to have your support as their sponsor. It could be you! Your sponsorship includes feed, supplements, veterinary care and farrier care.

When you sponsor for half a year, look for your name on our website and social media and a keepsake photo of your horse. When you sponsor for a full year you receive recognition on the website, social media, a keepsake photo PLUS a site tour and 30 minute grooming session with your sponsored horse.

To sponsor one of these grays or another SIRE herd member you can follow the link https://sire-htec.org/sponsor-a-horse/ or reach out to [email protected]

The final day of the 2025 summer semester has ended and while we will miss seeing the riders, we won’t miss being out in the heat and humidity! Thank you to everyone who braved the sweltering weather to help our riders.

There are no classes in August, so we will see everyone in September.

Thank you Sue and Chad Greer for sponsoring our mini horse, Beauty.

SIRE maintains a herd of 20 equines between our two locations and each horse has specific needs. You can help SIRE by sponsoring a horse for a year. Your annual donation provides the feed, farrier and vet care for a specific member of our herd to keep them in working condition.

If you would like to learn more about sponsoring a member of our herd, please reach out to Beth [email protected] or follow this link to choose your horse to sponsor. https://sire-htec.org/sponsor-a-horse/

The middle of the summer only means one thing in Texas – hot weather. To help keep everyone cool the fan favorite – the cup/sponge relay – was played. The goal? Get as much water to the bucket on the opposite side of the arena without losing too much water on the way.

To make things a little more competitive it was turned into a relay race. With the handy dandy measuring guide (aka dip your finger into the bucket of water), it was safe to say that there were quite a few ties.

While we don’t look forward to the heat every year, we do enjoy bringing this game back each time.

It’s time to celebrate the amazing equines at SIRE and around the world!

Today is celebration of the horse day aka I love horses' day – a day where we acknowledge the historical, cultural, and economic impact that horses have made on our society.

From our Miniature Horses to our Clydesdale Cross and all those in between, they have made an impact on the lives of our clients throughout the years.
