Shadow has arrived at a temporary foster home! This 6-month-old, 60 lb dog, sporting a lab coat, boasts impressively long legs and a longer nose than a lab. He gets along wonderfully with people and dogs alike. He's a dream to ride with in the car, calmly lying down without a single peep. He is crate-trained.

Thank you to everyone who donated to the medical care of Holly and her three puppies: George, Duke, and Angel. Your generosity made a difference.

Holly and the puppies arrive this Tuesday, May 26th on a Pilots-n-Paws flight from Texas to Wheeling. We are still in need of fosters for a couple of puppies and Holly. Consider how much they have been through! Left on the side of the road in southern Texas without food or water, yet Holly and her puppies not only survived, but remained sweet dogs. Our incredible rescue partner in Texas took the first steps by getting them to the vet and then to her place for care. Thanks to her, they have made great progress. The puppies are ready for foster-to-adoption applications. Holly is going to need the most medical care as she has a broken back leg that will be evaluated once she arrives. Please help them find their forever homes by fostering or adopting—and sharing widely.

CLR covers all the medical costs while in foster/foster-to-adopt and will help with supplies and food if needed.
