Had such a fun time training with handsome Bowie today. Love his muzzle and brindle color! We worked on making sure Bowie enjoys his walk and doesn't find the need to become so stubborn and plop down and act like his legs just don't work no more... We all laughed when he preferred to start the walk being dragged across the lawn on his side, but once he got up and we started training, we had a wonderful walk. Even when an off leash dog got loose and ran up to us!

Puppy boy, Blue, didn't want the lesson to end, but also needed to give his brain a rest... Smart puppy decided to take a nap on my foot so he'd know if I moved 😂 our first lesson went wonderful and Blue learned Sit, Down and coming when called and on the way to so much more!

They grow so quickly😭
This last session, young Wyatt learned nose targeting to our hands with just one lesson!
We also worked on the begining of going to bed and incorporated into our most tempting stay distraction, the walk-in kitchen cupboard where all the tasty things are (including his food🍗) He had to stay in a down on his bed while his mom went in and out of the cupboard tempting him to break his stay by manipulating his food bin.

Adorable Burt, is a rescue starting to decompress in his new home. Together with his new family we started working on how guests can greet him so he's not so timid and shy. We also went over the basics of positive reinforcement training, not jumping or inappropriate barking, and politely walking on leash.

Wiggles is appropriately named, he just wiggles with love and he loves meeting new friends, people and dogs alike. However, recently, Wiggles has become fearful of dogs larger than him and begins to pull, lunge and bark at them.
Together we're working on counter conditioning and systematically desinsitizing him to his reactivity towards larger dogs that he doesn't know. We're using his love of meeting his buddies on walks and trying to get him to see that even if a dog is bigger than us, they can still become our friend🥰

Mochi, is just 6 mos old and trying to learn the ropes, but apparently has commentary on *all* things in life.
Molly, with her 8 yrs of knowledge and experience, has been trying to teach Mochi the basics, but puppies are puppies and it was time to put a proper training plan in place.

Together we put in action a training plan that works for the whole family. We also worked with Mochi on getting picked up without nipping and being more responsive and engaged during training sessions.
