Our Story

Hello! We are Jamie and Katrina, the Camp Directors at Camp Underbite.

If you’re reading this, we probably have a lot in common. We live in Northwest Arkansas, we love animals (who doesn’t??), we are Pet Parents and our busy lives sometimes force us to leave our beloved pets behind. Some pets handle this better than others, and our Tucker (the handsome grin in our logo) isn’t great at being left behind.

He suffered from a pretty expensive case of Separation Anxiety. His behavior forced us to get creative (essential oils, audiobooks, Talk Radio, pet cam surveillance) and ultimately, we were forced to either bring him EVERYWHERE or leave him home. Leaving him home not only caused him stress but we were racked with guilt knowing he was upset and we cringed at every return, worried about what mess we were walking into. Our biggest concern was his safety and it just really broke our hearts that he was so unhappy and anxious.

So what does this have to do with Camp Underbite?
