J-M Training offers programs for recreational (trail and hobby riding) as well as farm and ranch use horses. This is also a great foundational start for performance horses. I follow the true Horseman code which creates a willing partner and never uses abusive submission to train. We have many different areas to upskill from a full size sand arena to hundreds of acres of trails. I teach trailer loading, water crossing, ponying, and of course riding basics. Your horse will return with a solid foundation ready for use. Your partner will be desensitized to dogs, ropes, cattle, vehicles, ATVs, loud noises, and anything you might encounter on the trail, dirt road riding, or on the ranch. If you have a horse with a personality flaw, bad habit, anxiety, history of abuse, or simply unable to progress to the level you are seeking, I have 30 years of experience to offer!
