In the early years we raised beef cattle, primarily feedlots, and grew grains to feed the cattle and for market.

Two years of draught followed by a spring and summer filled with rain. God’s perfect planning and perfect timing, just have to have faith. Corn and soybeans look exceptional, but still have to get through harvest. Along with the rain we’re irrigating the sod and it looks great.
Now if it would just dry enough to get out in the fields to work up the ground for sod planting. Practicing patience and praying. The 9400 and 9420 are anxiously waiting to go, Travis is ready as always to get them both going, switching back and forth. We’ll get it done, always do.

Callie’s lemonade stand was a big success on Friday. Lots of wonderful sod customers and even a few of her friends stopped by for ice cold, fresh squeezed lemonade.
