If your pets need urgent care today, our sister clinic, Summit Veterinary Care is OPEN and ready to help!

Here are some important tips to keep your pets safe during the celebrations:
🐶 Keep pets indoors and away from windows
🎧 Play calming music or use white noise to block out fireworks
🚫 Never leave pets outside unattended during fireworks
🆔 Double-check that your pet’s ID tags and microchip info are current
💧 Keep fresh water available to help with stress and hydration

Dr. Starke has always brought a unique and heartfelt approach to mobile veterinary care. Her ability to meet pets and their families where they are—in the comfort of their own homes—reflects not only medical excellence, but also a true understanding of the human–animal bond. She communicates with care, and consistently delivers high-quality, gold standard medicine in every visit. Her track record speaks for itself - this is Dr. Starke’s fourth year in a row being named a Top Veterinarian for her work with Vets To Pets.

When we knew we were going to open Summit Veterinary Care, we knew immediately that we had to have Dr. Kirk on our team. Dr. Kirk has helped create an environment where excellence in care is matched by kindness and integrity. She sets the tone for a culture of compassion and curiosity that inspires our entire team every day. We are so very grateful to have her as a part of the Summit Veterinary Care team. If your pet needs medications to help with firework anxiety, please remmeber to give them per the label instructions - often, medicating your pet starts BEFORE the actual event!
