✨ Today’s : Judy! 🖤

Judy came to us from Soi Dog Foundation in Thailand, and while she was very shy at first, she’s slowly blossoming into the sweetest, most affectionate girl. At just 2 years old and 35 lbs, this beautiful Jindo mix is finally starting to show us her true personality.

When Judy first arrived, we had her in a playgroup with several more assertive dogs (including other Soi Dogs), and she preferred to stay quietly on the sidelines. Once we moved her into a calmer group with gentler, low-key dogs, she really began to come out of her shell. Judy absolutely enjoys the company of other dogs — she just thrives best with mellow friends like herself.

At Soi Dog, staff noted that Judy was friendly with everyone, and now we’re beginning to see that side of her shine through. Judy has been through so much already. She has been at Soi Dog since she was just one month old after her mother was injured in a car accident. Traveling all the way from Thailand to California is a huge adjustment for any dog, especially one who spent her whole life in one place. Now that she’s settling in, we’re finally seeing her affectionate spirit emerge.

Judy loves walks and is wonderful on leash. She would make an amazing hiking companion for an active home, and we think she’d do especially well with another calm, friendly dog. While she does well with everyone, she definitely gravitates toward quieter canine companions. Right now, she’s happiest in a playgroup with smaller and medium-sized mellow dogs.

Judy is such a sweet, sensitive soul, and we know that once she’s in a loving home environment, she’s truly going to shine. 💕

✨ Today’s : Braathen! 🖤

Braathen came to us with his brothers, Feller and Moltzan, after they were surrendered to Kern County and quickly found themselves at risk of euthanasia. Thankfully, they made their way to safety — and now Braathen is ready to find the loving home he deserves.

This handsome Min Pin mix is about 3 years old and weighs 20lbs. Braathen is a shy but incredibly sweet boy who just needs a little patience to let his personality shine. While he may be reserved when meeting new people, a few treats and a calm approach go a long way, and once he warms up, he becomes a gentle, affectionate companion.

Braathen does wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys spending time with both his brothers and the other dogs in his playgroup. He would do great joining an existing pack or living with another friendly dog who can help boost his confidence. He’d also thrive in a quieter home environment where he can settle in at his own pace.
He has moderate exercise needs and would enjoy neighborhood walks, weekend adventures, or relaxing at home with his people. At 20lbs, he’s the perfect medium size — small enough to scoop up for cuddles, but sturdy enough to join you on outings and adventures.

Braathen is the kind of dog who rewards patience with deep trust and loyalty, and watching shy dogs like him blossom in a home is one of the most rewarding things.

✨ Today’s : Matrix! 🐾

Looking for a sweet, gentle little companion with soulful eyes and a heart full of love? Meet Matrix. This adorable scruffy boy may be shy at first, but give him a little time and patience and you’ll discover one of the sweetest dogs around.

Matrix is about 3 years old, around 10 lbs, and recently rescued from the overcrowded Barstow shelter, where so many wonderful, highly adoptable dogs are at risk simply because there isn’t enough space. We’re so grateful Matrix now has a safe place to wait for the forever home he deserves.

When Matrix first arrived, he was understandably timid, but every day he grows a little braver. Now he happily comes up to volunteers for pets and affection, and his gentle personality is starting to shine. He does great in a playgroup with other small dogs and would thrive in a calm, quieter home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace.

Because of his small size, Matrix doesn’t need a ton of exercise, but he’d love leisurely walks around the neighborhood or tagging along for daily adventures. He’d do well as an only dog or with another canine companion.

And honestly… those eyes? Completely unforgettable. 💛

✨ Today’s : Kaillie! 🐾

Looking for a dog who can slide right into your family and become your new best friend? Meet Kaillie — a beautiful 6-year-old Collie mix with the perfect blend of intelligence, affection, and adventure spirit.

Kaillie already knows all of her basic commands and absolutely loves showing them off. She’s friendly with people, great with other dogs, and has moved beyond the chaotic puppy phase while still having plenty of energy for hikes, jogs, beach days, or any adventure you want to share together.

Like many herding breeds, Kaillie is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and deeply loyal. She has some classic Collie herding instincts, but what shines most is her happy personality and that bright, joyful smile that lights up every room she walks into. ❤️

Kaillie and her friend Kaysha were owner-surrendered and found themselves at immediate risk in an overcrowded LA shelter. Thankfully, we were able to rescue them in time. Kaysha has already found her forever family — and now it’s Kaillie’s turn.

She would thrive in an active, loving home ready for a loyal companion and adventure buddy.

✨ Today’s : Molly! 🤍🐾

Just when you thought we couldn’t possibly have more amazing dogs to share… along comes Molly. ✨

Molly and her brother Milo were found crated in the backyard of a home when an HVAC technician working on the property convinced the owner to relinquish them so they could finally have the life they deserve. These sweet pups are under 1 year old, around 15 lbs, and appear to be Maltese/Poodle mixes.

Molly is everything you could want in a companion — friendly, affectionate, playful, and impossibly photogenic. Seriously… narrowing her gallery down to just 10 photos was nearly impossible because she looks adorable in every single one. 📸💕

Despite her rough start, Molly is full of love and joy. She’s wonderful with other dogs and thrives in her large playgroup, happily making friends wherever she goes. She has a fun, playful side without being over-the-top, and she balances her energy perfectly with cuddle time and affection.

She’s slightly more outgoing than her brother Milo, but both are incredibly sweet dogs who are simply happy to be loved. It’s hard to imagine how anyone could leave dogs like these sitting in crates outside instead of showering them with attention all day long.

Molly would fit beautifully into so many homes — whether as your one-and-only best friend or joining an existing pack. She enjoys walks, short hikes, playtime, and snuggling up afterward. She’s the kind of dog who makes every day brighter. ☀️
We’re so grateful she now has the chance to find a family who will cherish her the way she deserves.

✨ Today’s : Shadow! 🖤🐾

Shadow is one of the wonderful dogs we recently rescued from Barstow, and this happy little girl is pure sunshine wrapped in scruffy Terrier fur. At just 1 year old and around 24 lbs, Shadow appears to be a Border Terrier/Wirehaired Terrier mix — and she has the playful, adventurous personality to match.

Shadow is always the first to greet volunteers when they enter the play yard. In her world, everyone is a friend just waiting to give her pets and attention — exactly as it should be. When she’s not soaking up affection, she’s zooming around the yard, wrestling and playing with her many dog friends. This girl absolutely LOVES to play.

Don’t let her compact size fool you — Shadow is an energetic adventure buddy who could probably keep up on a 5K, a hike, or any fun outing you have planned. She would thrive with an active family looking for an interactive, social pup to share life with.

Shadow does wonderfully with other dogs, and having a playful canine companion would be a great fit for her. She could also be happy as an only dog, as long as she continues getting plenty of activity, enrichment, and social time. She’s the total package: adventurous, affectionate, playful, and ready to curl up for cuddles after a fun day.

✨ Today’s : Feller! ✨

Do you have a soft spot for the shy dogs? The gentle souls who need a little time to come out of their shell — the ones whose trust you earn slowly, but once you do, they become your most loyal companion? Then you need to meet Feller. 🤍

Feller is a sweet 3-year-old Min Pin mix who has experienced far too much turmoil in his young life. Recently rescued from Kern County alongside his siblings, Molzan and Braathen, Feller narrowly escaped euthanasia and is now searching for the love, safety, and stability of a forever home.

At just 17 lbs, Feller is a gentle little guy with low-to-medium energy. He does wonderfully with other dogs and thrives in his large playgroup. He shares kennel space peacefully with multiple dogs and eats alongside his friends without issue. While he may need a little time to warm up to new people, once he feels safe, his loving personality shines through.

Feller would do best in a calmer home with patient adopters who understand that some dogs just need a moment to feel comfortable. Another friendly dog in the home would be a bonus, but he’d also do fine as your one-and-only best friend. We promise — the reward will be worth the effort. 🐾

✨ Today’s : Sebastian! ✨

Yesterday we introduced you to Redkin, and today it’s his adorable brother Sebastian’s turn to shine. And just like we promised… this guy is *ridiculously* cute. 😍

Between his lowrider body, scruffy coat, and that perfect patch over his eye, Sebastian has the kind of face that makes people stop scrolling immediately. But beyond being one of the cutest dogs to ever pass through TBL, he’s also incredibly sweet, friendly, and easy to love. Sebastian just turned 1 year old, is about 24lbs, and we believe he may be a Corgi mix.

Sebastian came to us from Barstow, where overcrowding has become so severe that even highly adoptable dogs like Sebastian and Redkin were at risk of euthanasia. It’s heartbreaking to imagine when you look at a dog like this. Thankfully, Sebastian now has the chance to find the loving home he deserves.

Sebastian does great with other dogs. He’s slightly less extroverted than his brother, but he warms up quickly and has a gentle, affectionate personality. He would fit beautifully into just about any moderately active family. While his short little legs probably aren’t built for marathon hikes, he would absolutely love low-key adventures, walks, playtime, and being included in family outings.

He could happily join an existing pack or be your one-and-only best friend. He’s a social little guy though, so some canine buddies would definitely make him happy. Most of all, Sebastian is going to bring so much joy, laughter, and love to the lucky family who adopts him. We are so grateful we were able to give him and his brother the second chance they deserve. ❤️

✨ Today’s : Redkin! ✨

I think the cuteness gauge just went into the red. 😍 Seriously — meet Redkin, because this level of adorable may be more than the average human can handle.

Beyond being ridiculously cute, Redkin is also an incredibly happy, friendly little guy who loves everyone he meets. This sweet lowrider just turned 1 year old, is about 24lbs, and we believe he may be a Corgi mix.

Redkin and his equally adorable brother, Sebastian, recently arrived from Barstow, where they were in danger of euthanasia due to overcrowding. No matter how many times we see situations like this, it never stops being heartbreaking. The dogs we’ve welcomed from Barstow have all been absolutely wonderful — friendly, loving, playful dogs who are going to bring so much joy, laughter, and companionship to their future families. We are so grateful to be able to give them the second chance they deserve. ❤️

Redkin does great with other dogs and could thrive in many different types of homes. While his short little legs probably aren’t built for marathon hikes or long-distance jogging, he would love moderate adventures, playtime, and plenty of affection.
