Last weekend we had a great time at the Saddle Up for St. Jude event at Jubilee. The park was packed, the food was good, and the activities all raised money for a great cause.

Big thanks to all the people that put this on. It was apparent that a lot of planning and hard work went into it.

How to measure a horse's height.

Most anyone in the horse community around Central Illinois has rode at "Jubilee" aka Jim Spurgeon Equestrian Campground. My family grew up riding and camping here and the stories these trees and this ground could tell. This past weekend we had an opportunity to carry it on with my son's first trail ride at the park. Emmett survived the 2.5 hour adventure and Grandpa Nyle would have been proud!
