Foster Pet Outreach is a local non-profit organization, 501(c)(3), whose main focus is to help provide for the well being of animals in our community. We believe that abandoned, injured, or neglected animals deserve the same care and concern, as do our own companion animals. Our members feel that they have the responsibility to address the general needs of this community's animals and to champion

the rights of those worthwhile beings with whom we share our world. Foster Pet Outreach seeks to educate the community in the topics of pet over-population and the necessity of responsible pet ownership. We also bring to local attention the plight of animals who have been denied the basic necessities for a quality life. Foster Pet Outreach wishes that everyone recognize the dignity and worth of all animals

Black dogs linger. It’s a fact. Cocoa and Mocha are amazing, well-behaved, potty-trained, crate trained, dog friendly, cats unknown. They are 8 months old now.

Their foster mama just submitted a DNA test. While we wait, what is your guess???

It is TELL US THE TRUTH TUESDAY, where our foster dogs and cats come to you, the court of public opinion, to make a decision whether they or their foster parents are at fault. For anonymity, we will call them Mailor and Satt. Mailor has lived outside most of his life on a chain. In his foster home, when left alone, he is gated in the laundry room. Mailor admits he wasn’t perfect, he did start to Destuff his dog bed… but hey, he thought Satt might want to come in and visit with him and wanted him to have a soft bed too. Satt peaked in on him and noticed Mailor had untied his shoes and accused Mailor of chewing his shoes. First, Satt, Mailor thought you were giving him the shoes since you left them unattended in the laundry room with him. More importantly, Mailor claims he was trying to help Satt by untying his shoes, making them easier to put on next time he wore them. Satt isn’t buying it. Who do you believe Mailor - hey I was just trying to help Satt get into his shoes or Satt - Mailor was starting to chew his shoes.

While Foster Pet Outreach celebrates that we are able to be a part of their journey, we express frustration that each of these kittens were in need of rescue, too young to eat on their own, in need of bottle feeding to survive. Each kitten is a direct result of human irresponsibility and suffering that could have easily been prevented by being housed as an indoor only cat, a low-cost spay or neuter, or being surrendered to a shelter instead of being dumped.

Kittens crying next to their deceased mom, found in a storm drain, crying outside alone on a cold night, that is how their stories began, but Foster Pet Outreach stepped in to make sure that is not how their stories will end. They are loved, warm, nourished and cherished. They will receive vaccines and will be spayed and neutered, ensuring they will never have kittens fighting for survival like them. We can only do our work thanks to fosters, adopters, volunteers and donors. Thank you for allowing Foster Pet Outreach to continue to say yes. Thank you for your part in helping us to be a part of the journey of each and every one of our foster dogs and cats.

We are not currently accepting applications on any of these kittens. They are still too young and fragile. Watch and follow our page to learn more about their availability as they grow and thrive. 🐾 Meet Harry 🐾

Harry is a handsome 6-month-old brown and black tabby Domestic Short Hair looking for a family that will appreciate him for exactly who he is.

While all of his siblings have already found their forever homes, Harry is still patiently waiting for his perfect match. He's a more laid-back guy who prefers to do things on his own terms. Harry isn't the type of kitten who demands constant attention—he's independent, observant, and content entertaining himself.

One of Harry's favorite pastimes is watching the world go by from a sunny window. When he's not bird-watching, you'll often find him curled up for a nap in his favorite spot: the bathroom sink!

Harry gets along well with cats, dogs, and children, making him a great addition to many different types of homes. Because he likes to take his time getting to know new people, he may need a little patience when settling into a new environment. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality begins to shine through.

If you're looking for a calm companion who enjoys having his own space but still appreciates being part of the family, Harry may be the perfect cat for you.
