Foster Pet Outreach is a local non-profit organization, 501(c)(3), whose main focus is to help provide for the well being of animals in our community. We believe that abandoned, injured, or neglected animals deserve the same care and concern, as do our own companion animals. Our members feel that they have the responsibility to address the general needs of this community's animals and to champion

the rights of those worthwhile beings with whom we share our world. Foster Pet Outreach seeks to educate the community in the topics of pet over-population and the necessity of responsible pet ownership. We also bring to local attention the plight of animals who have been denied the basic necessities for a quality life. Meet Charlie šŸ¤

Charlie is a sweet, enthusiastic Boxer pup who shows his love with his whole heartā€”even if it sometimes comes with a few playful nibbles. Heā€™s learning and improving every day; Charlie just loves very hard.

This handsome boy has a touch of white on his nose, making him the twin of one of his sisters and giving him his own special charm. When Charlie is happy, youā€™ll know itā€”his affection is big, bold, and full of puppy joy.

And if you ever need his attention? Just push the ā€œiceā€ button. Charlie will appear faster than you can say his name, ready to chomp and wag his way into your heart.

Charlie is looking for a family who understands puppy energy, patience, and trainingā€”and whoā€™s ready to be loved enthusiastically in return. šŸ¾

Our adoption fee is $350 for dogs over 5 months of age and includes all vaccinations, spay/neuter, micro chip implantation and registration/transfer, heartworm test and much more. Puppies up to 6 months of age are $400 and this includes all sets of puppy vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip implantation and registration and more.

Meet Neri!
Neri is a 1-year-old male tricolor Chihuahua mix with the sweetest little heart. He can be a little nervous in new situations, but once he feels safe, his loving personality starts to shine.
Neri likes to be close to his people, and his favorite spot is right beside you, tucked under a blanket. He is crate trained and working on house training. He does well with kids after a proper introduction.
Neri is cat friendly, but he would do best with a dog-savvy cat since he loves to play chase. He is a playful, affectionate boy who just needs a little patience and a lot of love.
If youā€™re looking for a sweet companion who wants to be by your side, Neri may be your perfect match.

Help! At this point, we donā€™t know if we need prayers or donations more. Butch Cassidy had to be rushed back to U of I where he is undergoing intensive care for aspiration pneumonia. On top of his palate surgery that was close to $5000, his treatment this weekend will be a minimum of $3000 but we have to fight for him. Please offer up good thoughts and prayers for Butch.

Our handsome little tiger boy is a bit shy at first and may hide while he takes it all in ā€” but once he feels safe, his curious side comes out. He loves window watching and gets a little extra feisty over his wet food (dinner is serious business šŸ˜¹).
Used to babies, toddlers, dogs, and cats ā€” he just needs a little patience while he builds confidence.

Help us understand. The first photo in cheerleader outfits are Cocoa and Mocha at intake. The pictures leading up to the current photo of Mocha spans 5 months. Yep 5 whole months that Mocha has been growing up in foster. Sheā€™s 7 months old now. Crate trained, potty trained, good on leash, child friendly, dog friendly, lower energy for a dog of her age and size and little to no interest. Sheā€™s been to 3 Peoria Petsmart offsites and charmed everyone. Sheā€™s been to a coffee house offsite in Manito, and Carle Health Pekin to mingle with staff. Our volunteers rave about her, her foster mom adores her, she loves everyone she meets. Will someone be her hero?

We are in need of small crate pads (approximately 22 inch size) and clumping cat litter - ANY BRAND. Order from your favorite online vendor and have shipped to Foster Pet Outreach directly at 10206 W Dubois Road, Edwards, IL 61528. You can also drop items off directly to the building. We are not staffed but there is a donation bin on our front porch.

Three kittens thrown from a car, only one survived. No, the person responsible was never caught. šŸ’”
Thankfully, one compassionate person stopped, picked him up, and made sure he made it safely to Foster Pet Outreach. Now, this shy little long-haired boy with striking blue eyes and a tiny white patch on his chest is finally safe.
Right now, Ridoc spends most of his time sleeping, healing, and enjoying wet food while learning that not all humans are scary. The best part of rescue is watching broken little souls realize theyā€™re finally safe enough to be loved.
