Star Therapeutic Equestrian Center is one of Star Community's three core programs. Our services cater to the body, mind and spirit of each rider, helping them grow both in and out of the arena. With flexible, individualized lessons, every rider can discover more about themselves a

nd their possibilities through building a relationship with our horse partners. By encouraging riders to establish and work towards personalized goals, each person has the chance to grow, learn new skills, and explore their abilities.

Students from Grace Academy came out once again to spend a day volunteering at our Center! Teamwork made the dream work, because in just a few hours they organized a shed, moved hay, cleaned tack, washed blankets, and cleaned up a pasture. It's , and we want to take a moment to thank all of the people who help make dreams come true at Star. When they're not feeding horses and mucking stalls, they're filling our Center with smiles, laughs, and words of encouragement for our riders. It is Amanda O'Keefe's last day at Star, and we want to give her a HUGE thank you for everything she's done! Amanda began as a volunteer and then transitioned to become a Riding Instructor in 2021. She has the utmost respect and love for every rider, bringing out the best in their abilities and maximizing their independence. Not to mention her sense of humor, which kept everyone rolling with the punches. Please help us give a big thank you to Amanda in the comments!
