We are out of KMR and our littlest most vulnerable benefit from the nutrition. If you are wondering what you could donate today, a couple cans of this would be great! Thanks for your consideration!

Candy & Poison Safety
• Keep chocolate and sweets away: Chocolate (especially dark or baking) is toxic to dogs and cats.
• Watch for artificial sweeteners: Xylitol (found in sugar-free gum and candy) causes severe liver failure and sudden drops in blood sugar.
• Avoid raisins and wrappers: Raisins cause kidney failure, and swallowed foil or plastic wrappers cause dangerous intestinal blockages.
• Check bags: Store all children's trick-or-treating stashes completely out of reach.
Front-Door & Anxious Pet Tips
• Create a safe zone: Put anxious or reactive pets in a quiet, comfortable back room or crate with background noise or a puzzle toy.
• Prevent bolting: Frequent door-opening makes it easy for pets to slip outside. Use baby gates or keep dogs on a leash near the entrance.
Be safe this Halloween.

P+C pups pick their treats!😍🐶🦴

While they do love the treats, they’d appreciate forever homes even more.❤️ We have so many great doggos waiting! They’d love a chance to get out of the shelter.🫶🏻
