Justine’s lovely foster renamed her Kira Moon, and she’s just been blossoming ever since we rescued her! After everything she went through in the shelter, it’s been so heartwarming to see her safe, loved, and surrounded by friends. Her foster family reports that she’s been snuggling upside down with 4 paws in the air, which is super cute. And playing joyfully with her puppy pals. She also had a vet visit for a small infection and is now well on the mend. It’s amazing to see her settling into a life full of love, comfort and trust. We will post her for adoption when she’s ready. But for now, we’re just loving seeing her thrive! Thank you everyone who helped her journey to freedom, safety and happiness !

Last week we rescued Justine in the nick of time. She was terrified at the shelter, but today she’s safe, cozy, and loved and already showing that spark at her amazing fosters. Cheyan now Brisby was the first to be rescued months ago at the very last minute taken in by wonderful foster parents who saw her worth and then made it forever in Portland Oregon. Meanwhile, her sister Chazmin now Jazzie waited in Los Angeles, until love bridged the distance. Her sister’s foster family in Oregon stepped up again, opening her home to foster her. And then something beautiful happened. Brisby’s adopter fell in love with Jazzie too. He knew these sisters belonged together, so he adopted Jazzie, reuniting them for good. Today, Brisby and Jasmine are living their best lives together in Oregon, exactly where they were always meant to be. They absolutely love each other!
This is a beautiful story and proof that anything is possible. Thank you so very much to the many people, networkers fosters adopter transports who helped make the magic happen !

Here’s to Sweet Sadie’s freedom ride! She came heartbreakingly close to not making it. But thanks to a last-minute rescue, this sweet girl got the second chance she deserves. Today, she’s on her way to the Bay Area, where a loving foster is waiting with open arms. Sadie is gentle, loving and ready to leave her past behind. It’s proof that even at the final hour, hope can win.
Safe travels, sweet Sadie. We can’t wait to see your new life unfold.
