Today we pause to honor the men and women who gave everything in service to this country. Memorial Day isn't just a holiday — it's a reminder of what loyalty, sacrifice, and dedication really look like.

For many veterans, coming home means rebuilding life alongside a dog who helps carry the weight. That bond is something we deeply respect here at Jetline. Dogs don't care about rank or title. They show up, stay loyal, and never quit — just like the people we're remembering today.

We were race this past weekend helping out with the agility and conditioning event. But for me one of the coolest experiences was being able to have my dog Jet(Malinois) try out herding for the first time if you have a herding breed or even if you don’t and just want to see how your pup does this is such an awesome thing to do with them! Plus getting fulfillment through work that herding dogs are bred to do helps with a ton of other issues you may be having with your dog herding breed or not. Highly recommend checking them out!

Probably one of my favorite things to teach my dogs is a “stop” command. It can be used in so many different situations and is amazing for getting some really awesome photos!

We got goose exactly two weeks ago today and let me tell you this boy was extremely reactive the first time I met him he reacted at my dog from about 50 yds away pulling his owner barking lunging etc. fast forward and now you can see that Goose is no longer focused on the other dogs. Now he can be in close proximity with other dogs with no reaction. All it takes is a plan of action and clear communication.

Intro to “place” for Goose. Once the marker (Yes) is clear it makes things a lot easier for the dog to learn new behaviors especially when combined with proper timing.

Rosie is with us for our 6 week program due to her on leash reactivity towards dogs and sometimes people. We are working on engagement in low distraction situations before introducing her to more distractions. Working on engagement is extremely important when it comes to overcoming reactivity. When a dog is focused solely on us it helps them work through all types of difficulties.

The first day we got Romeo he was so afraid of everything he wouldn’t even come out of his crate and he was shaking. Fast forward just a couple weeks and this is his progress so far with hopefully even more confidence to come!!!

Working on recall with Poppi, she already learned that the marker signals reward from me(or any handler) so now pairing her name/return with that marker will build up a super solid recall.
