👵 Lexi is one of our senior cats looking for her forever home. ♥️

At 12 years old, Lexi is the sort of cat that likes to pick her owner as much as they pick her. Her favorite type of people are the ones that leave her be for a bit and let her get aclimated until she is ready to come to them. Once she is comfortable, she is a sweet and loving girl.

Lexi would do best as an only pet, in a home without any young children. She is a good companion, and is okay being home alone by herself.

🦁 Meet Nala! 🦷

Nala is about 3.5 years old and looking for her forever home. This sweet girl had one litter of kittens outdoors that were trapped by one of our fosters before they were able to capture mom. Unfortunately by then she was pregnant again and had a second litter in foster care. She was a great mom, but her time outside scavanging for food took a toll on her teeth, and Nala had to have what teeth remained removed. She is now toothless, but healthy.

Her kittens are weaned and she is ready for a forever indoor home where she can be pampered and live the good life. Nala will need a quiet home and a bit of patience as she's still a bit nervous around humans. Once she warms up she is a sweet and loving girl, who is very grateful to be safely indoors and warm this winter.

💕 Sasha is a lovely lady that is looking for her forever home.

She was a wonderful mother to her five kittens that have been adopted. Sasha would make a wonderful companion cat. She loves to curl up in your lap and snuggle.

She gets along well with cat friendly dogs, but would prefer to be the only feline. Sasha would do best in a quiet home with no young children. Sasha is almost 2 years old.

🥭 Mango is a beautiful girl who just wants to be understood. 💛

She is like mango salsa: sweet and a little spicy. She takes a little time to warm up, but if you take the time she will make it worth your while. She loves attention and will talk to you until you give her enough. She loves to sit in laps and will let you know with that a quiet little purr and making biscuits. Mango is about 5 years old.

🐾 We can’t believe these two sweet seniors haven’t been adopted! 💕

Sweetie (12yo) and China (11yo) are a mother-daughter bonded pair who have lots of love to give!

Sweetie is a master of getting attention with her adorable high pitched meows, and she craves gentle head scratches that make her purr contentedly. Her deep bond with China is evident in their constant cuddling, sleeping, and grooming sessions.

China is a special girl with a heart of gold. Despite her mild condition called cerebral hypoplasia, which causes a bit of wobbliness in her walk, China's spirit remains unaffected, and her quality of life is joyful. She is remarkably easygoing and welcomes your affection, even allowing you to lift her for cuddles and pets.

With her endearing clumsiness and gentle nature, China is sure to win your heart as she bumbles her way into your affections.

Sweetie and China would do best in a home without other cats.

☔️ Buddy and Stormie are a sweet pair who would love to be adopted together! 🐈🐈

Buddy loves to cuddle and enjoys being carried upside down like a baby! He is very playful and good with other kitties, dogs, and children. He has been with Stormie since she was born. DOB=07/31/2023

😻 Meet Mabel! 🐈

Mabel is a cat's cat. This beautiful 8 month old girl is happiest when she is in the company of other friendly felines. She loves to play and cuddle with them. She takes a little longer to warm up to humans, but once she trusts you, she will come looking for pets and cuddles from the humans as well.

Mabel would be a great cat for a family looking for a companion for another cat. While she's a bit skittish, she's not a hider and would likely adjust well to cat friendly dogs. A home without very young children would probably be best for her. You can meet Mabel at our adoption events at the Laurens Road Petsmart.

Our Story

Foster Paws Rescue volunteers provide loving homes to every cat and kitten that walks through our doors. They receive personalized care and socialization. We rely solely on foster homes. Our funding comes through donations and grant opportunities. We believe there is a home for all of them , we just have to help them find that home. We believe in No Kill. Unless a cat is irremediably suffering , we do everything in our power to find them a home. If they are beyond medical help , we assist them in their journey Over the Bridge. We believe in transparency. We are a proud member of Shelter Animals Count and our statistics are available there. In 2019 we cared for 1,402 cats and kittens :

Starting number on Jan 1st : 268 intake : 1,134 Adopted: 1,034 TNR: 27 Euthanized:1 Died: 42 ( neonate kittens) End of Year still in our Care : 298 Percentage of lives saved : 95.9% (live outcomes 1061 / total outcomes 1104)
