Please meet ✨Alex✨, a high school senior who has recently completed an internship with us. When Alex first joined our hospital, she was uncertain about pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. However, after her time with us, she has committed to attending Southern Wesleyan University as a pre-veterinary science major, with the goal of becoming a veterinarian!
At the start of her internship, Alex was shy and apprehensive, but over the past several months, we have had the privilege of witnessing her grow in confidence and take initiative in completing tasks independently. It has been an honor to mentor her and observe her development. We are confident that if she continues on this path, she will become an outstanding veterinarian.
Alex’s empathy, kindness, eagerness to learn, and dedication to skill development are qualities that exemplify the best in our profession. She has been a huge part of our team, and while we are sad to see her leave, we are excited for her future and will continue to support her journey. Congratulations, Alex! We look forward to seeing all that you will accomplish!!
