We offer a range of emergency pet care services, including the following:
• Diagnostics. We have a range of tools in our clinic that can diagnose your pet's injury or condition. Our diagnostic tools include ultrasound, X-ray and on-site laboratory services. Whether your pet has a broken bone, has ingested something toxic or is experiencing some other medical condition, we can use all our tools to discover the problem and get your pet treated in a timely fashion.
• Examinations. We examine pets to determine the next course of action in a pet's treatment. Examinations are done quickly but gently, by skilled professionals who know how to keep pets calm when they're upset.
• Emergency surgery. We provide emergency surgery for pets who need help in order to heal. Our fully stocked surgical room, experienced veterinarians and capable technicians will help see your pet through to recovery.
• Poison control. Pets frequently ingest foods and medicines that shouldn't be eaten. We can help determine what your pet ate and do what it takes to get your pet well again.
• Animal bite care. When pets fight, they can get badly injured. We clean wounds, sew stitches and more.

In just one month… our shelter saw over 700 animals enter our doors for help 💙

Throught the month of may, our team cared for a total of 726 animals entering the shelter. We helped 527 leave through adoption or transfer and 79 pets were reunited with their families 🥰

Some days, more dogs entered than left. Other days, adoptions, rescues, and reunifications helped create space for the next animal in need.

While dogs and cats make up a majority of the animals we care for, we also welcomed in over 20 different species, including sheep, rabbits, snakes, and even a parakeet 🐾

Thank you to every staff member, adopter, foster, rescue partner, volunteer, and pet owner who helped make positive outcomes possible this month.

To meet/adopt, visit us in Greensboro, NC from 12-4pm any day except Tuesdays; no appointment needed.
