:jack_o_lantern::feet: Our Team is BOO-tiful Inside & Out! :feet::jack_o_lantern:

At All Creatures Veterinary Hospital, we believe that a great team is about more than just working together — it's about laughing together, making memories, and building friendships that go beyond the hospital walls.

We temporarily traded our stethoscopes and scrubs for dress-up, pumpkin carving tools, pizza, and some festive music.:jack_o_lantern::musical_note::pizza:

Between the creativity, laughter, and a whole lot of pumpkin guts, we were reminded just how lucky we are to have such an incredible group of people by our side.

Veterinary medicine can be challenging, but having a team that supports one another, lifts each other up, and knows how to have a little fun makes all the difference. :parrot::cat::lizard:

Great veterinary care starts with a great team, and we couldn't be prouder of ours! :fallen_leaf::heart:

🐾 Meet Butters! 💕

Butters came in to see her medical team because her family had noticed a few changes at home — she was eating more, vomiting more frequently but not often, and having a harder time keeping herself groomed.

Even though some of these changes can seem small, they’re exactly the kind of things we want to know about. Cats are experts at hiding when something isn't quite right!

During Butters’ visit, we took a closer look at the bigger picture with a thorough physical exam and some diagnostic testing, including:

🩸 CBC
🧪 Complete chemistry panel with SDMA
🦋 Thyroid (T4) testing
🦠 FeLV/FIV testing
💩 F***l testing
💧 Urinalysis

Our medical care isn't always about finding something wrong — it's about establishing what is normal for YOUR pet, so we have something to compare to as they get older. ❤️

We are happy that her results came back within normal limits, and Butters went home with a plan to help address her anxiety.

Because your pet can't tell us when something doesn't feel right. That's why paying attention to small changes — appetite, vomiting, grooming habits, litter box habits, thirst, weight, behavior — can be so important.

💕 We're happy to be part of Butters' healthcare team and can't wait to see this sweet girl feeling her best! 🐾

🐢💚 Say hello to our 99.3 pound friend Zeus! 💚🐢

We always love when Zeus comes to visit us at All Creatures Veterinary Hospital! This handsome Sulcata tortoise was such a wonderful patient, and our team enjoyed spending a little time with him while making sure he received the gentle, specialized veterinary care he deserves.

One of our favorite things about caring for exotic pets is getting to know just how unique every species truly is — and Sulcata tortoises are pretty amazing!

🌿 Fun Facts About Sulcata Tortoises:

🐢 Sulcatas are the third-largest tortoise species in the world and can grow to well over 100 pounds!

🏜️ They are native to the dry regions of sub-Saharan Africa and are incredible diggers. In the wild, they create deep burrows to escape extreme heat and regulate their body temperature.

🥬 Sulcatas are herbivores and thrive on a diet that is high in fiber and primarily made up of grasses and hay.

💪 Those big, sturdy legs aren’t just cute — Sulcatas are incredibly strong and can move some surprisingly heavy objects when they decide something is in their way!

❤️ With proper care, Sulcata tortoises can live for many decades, making them a very long-term member of the family.

Thank you for coming to see us, Zeus! We loved having you and can’t wait to watch you continue to grow. 🐢💚

We love caring for creatures of all shapes, sizes, scales, feathers and fur!

Sweet little Persimmon the hognose snake recently came to see the team at All Creatures Veterinary Hospital after developing an abscess that needed medical attention. 🐍💚

Thanks to the compassionate care of Dr. Daniel and her dedicated medical team, Persimmon received the treatment she needed and is now feeling SO much better! From her exam and treatment plan to recovery and healing, this brave girl was surrounded by a team that truly cares about every creature — no matter how tiny. ✨

Reptiles are experts at hiding illness, which is why routine exams and early intervention are so important. If you notice swelling, changes in appetite, unusual behavior, or anything out of the ordinary with your exotic pet, don’t wait to have them evaluated.

We are so proud of Persimmon and thankful we could help her on the road to recovery! 🐍💕
