A little pup date from a recent adoption! 🐾

About a week and a half ago we brought home little Amelia from the Humane Society. We now call her Marley and she’s doing great! It took her about a day or so to decompress, then you’d think she’d lived here for years! She seems quite happy and doesn’t know a stranger. Just wanted you guys to know she’s doing well and fit right in.
We’ll attach a few pics for ya!

Happy Vet Tech appreciation week to our own tech as well as those at West Central Veterinary Clinic and Fix’n Friends!

West Central Vet clinic is always one call away for us at any moment to intake an emergency or for any medical reasons that we cannot handle in-house. We have a great work relationship with just about every Veterinarian on staff and they all have graciously jumped in when needed!

Fix’n friends and Cat Snip handle most of our spay, neuter, dental, or standard surgery procedures! They go above and beyond to make sure our animals are ready for adoption. They either fix any other issue they notice or call and let us know if something else needs done.

All of you deserve a shout out for your hard work! We appreciate every one of you! 🐾

Phi Gamma Delta and Kappa Alpha Theta hosted their Annual Bark-B-Que event last night that had a fantastic turnout and our dogs had a great time socializing with everyone and each other, a much needed break from the shelter environment! Phi Gamma Delta also donated a separate donation straight to the Humane Society to help with the animals in need! We can’t thank everyone enough who puts this event on and helps the animals in our shelter!

Boone 1 year old mastiff/doberman mix who was adopted from us as a puppy. We did do a dna test on him so we know his breed. His previous home said he is good with dogs and people, recommended older children as he can play rough when he gets excited and likes to paw. He is housebroken but is sometimes kenneled during the day when they are gone for long periods. He does like to sleep next to you at night and is a big love bug. He is timid in this environment but warms up and leans in for love. He walks on a leash but will pull away when scared. He is 86 # currently but he is tall.
