I was always so proud when one of our dogs became a leader dog for the blind. It made all the work of breeding well worth the effort! This was a Sid son.

It’s a lovely morning in Indiana. “Almost”cool, low humidity and a nice breeze. The pups and the pollinators keep me entertained on our walk. We will be finished before the weather heats up again.

Probably one of the most difficult things I do as a breeder is place my retired girls in pet homes.
I whelp them, care for them, love them, train them, travel and show them, put them back in the whelping box with their own litters. We become a team as we both do our best to raise those pups. It’s huge bonding time watching them be amazing mothers.
CH Paradocs Morrigan, “Morrie,” was a girl I thought I’d keep forever.
A week ago, the absolute perfect home contacted me because the recently lost their girl. We emailed, texted and chatted on the phone. Mike came to visit yesterday for a “meet and greet” and went home with Morrie.
This is the text he sent me when he got home:

I do the feeding, walking, cleaning and care of these babies and this baby puppy has chosen my son as his person….go figure. Lol
