💖FOSTER OR ADOPT SABLE💖

⭐️Looking for a best friend who will:
• Greet you like you’re a celebrity 🎉
• Accept snacks with enthusiasm 🍪
• Roll over for belly rubs on demand 😂

💛Meet SABLE⭐️

This big, goofy Lab (64 lbs of love!) is equal parts adventure buddy and cuddle companion. He’s got a silly streak, a sweet soul, and a heart that’s just waiting for someone to call his own.

Sable already knows “sit,” is eager to learn more (especially if treats are involved), and after playtime, he’s happy to settle in and relax. He’s not much of a barker—just a laid-back, lovable guy who’s ready to leave his shelter days behind for good.

All he needs now? A patient, loving home—preferably with a fenced yard—where he can run, learn, and be the happy dog he’s meant to be.

📍 Adoptable through PAW (MD, VA, DC, northern PA)

Warning: may cause excessive smiling and unconditional love 💛🐾

🐾 Please Welcome Ralph to PAW ❤️

Ralph has quickly become a favorite in his foster home. His foster mom describes him as "perfect"!

He's house-trained, loves going for walks, gets along wonderfully with cats and kittens, and is happiest when he's spending time with his people. Despite having several cozy beds to choose from, Ralph's favorite spot is right next to his foster mom.

Ralph is ~8 years old, mostly deaf, toothless, and has reduced vision in one eye, but don't tell him that! He approaches every day with confidence, enthusiasm, and plenty of love to give.

While Ralph enjoys being close to his people, he's also perfectly content relaxing at home when left alone for a few hours.

📣 Ralph is not available for adoption just yet, but keep an eye on our page and website for updates on when this special boy will be ready to find his forever home!

💬 Help us introduce Ralph to more people! Tell us in the comments: What nickname would you give this sweet boy? Then like, share, and follow our page to help more PAW animals find loving homes. ❤️

💜🐾 Odin Update! 🐾💜

It's been a few weeks since little Odin underwent surgery to remove his injured left eye, and we're happy to report that he is doing great!

Odin is learning to navigate the world with one eye. While his depth perception may be a little off, he is quickly acclimating and gaining confidence every day. His fur is even starting to grow back, making him look more and more like the happy kitten he was always meant to be.

When he's not busy playing with his foster siblings, Odin can often be found curled up in a cozy bed or enthusiastically enjoying a tasty meal of kitten food. Despite his rough start as a stray, he has embraced the good life and is thriving in foster care.

Odin is just one of the many kittens that PAW has helped give a second chance and a brighter future. We look forward to sharing more stories like his and showing how your support helps us save vulnerable kittens in need.

While Odin is not quite ready for adoption yet, he is expected to be available next month! If you'd like to meet this handsome little survivor, keep an eye out for him at PAW's July Cat Yoga event. Visit paw-rescue.org for details and upcoming adoption information.

Thank you to our donors, fosters, volunteers, and supporters for making happy endings like Odin's possible. ❤️🐱

🐾 Welcome, Scarlett! 🐾
Meet Scarlett, a tiny 7-week-old kitten with a big future ahead of her.

Scarlett arrived at PAW from the Baltimore County Animal Services after being found as a stray. She originally came in with a sibling, but sadly her sibling passed away at the shelter from unknown causes. After spending two long weeks waiting for help, PAW was able to step in and give this sweet girl the second chance she deserves.

Now safe in her foster home, Scarlett is already showing off her playful personality and healthy appetite. She loves exploring, playing, and making the most of her newfound freedom. While she is battling a minor kitten cold, she's heading to the vet today to make sure she gets the care she needs as she continues her journey toward a happy, healthy life.
Every kitten like Scarlett is a reminder of why rescue matters. Without foster homes, volunteers, and supporters, many vulnerable animals would never get the opportunity to thrive.

If you'd like to help PAW save more animals in need, please consider fostering or adopting. If fostering or adopting isn't possible right now, donations of any size help provide medical care, food, and supplies for animals like Scarlett.

💖MINNIE 💖is a joyful, playful one-year-old pup (28 lbs) who loves being close to her people. Thought to be a Jack Russell–retriever mix, she’s smart, affectionate, and eager to please. She thrives with other dogs, enjoys playtime and toys, and then happily settles in your lap.

She’s learning leash skills and housetraining, and responds well to treats and guidance. Minnie would do best in an active home with a fenced yard, regular walks, and gentle structure. She’s sweet with people, likely good with older kids, and may adapt to cats.

If you’re looking for a loving, fun and energetic companion, Minnie is ready to fill your home with joy.

💜🐾🐾💜💜Greetings, my name is HUNTRIX, and at just about two years old, I’m hoping to find a loving forever home where I can finally settle in and shine.

I’m a gentle soul who doesn’t love being left alone for long, but I adore good scritches and will happily soak up all the affection you offer—I’m just not much of a lap cat. I’m okay being picked up, though it’s not my favorite thing. I’ve been a devoted mom, so I may need a little time and patience to rediscover my playful, carefree self.

I’ll show you my love in sweet, subtle ways—like greeting you with soft meows every time you walk into the room, or curling up right beside you and gazing lovingly into your beautiful face. I’ve lived with another cat before, so I could absolutely get along with another friendly kitty, and I’d probably warm up to a calm dog after a gentle introduction.

I’m excited for the next chapter of my journey and can’t wait to meet the person or family who’ll become my forever. I’m scheduled to be spayed on 12/9/25, and after that, I’ll be all ready to head home with you.

I can’t wait to begin our adventure together. 🐾💛. Inquire today!

🌟💕ADOPT AUREA💕🌟

Sweet Aurea has already survived more hardship in 10 months than most dogs face in a lifetime — and somehow she’s still one of the happiest girls you could ever meet.

This beautiful young Lab/Collie mix is only about 45 pounds and full of love, joy, and resilience. After being hit by a car, Aurea lost one of her back legs, but don’t tell her that she’s different — this sporty, playful sweetheart still loves to run, play, and live life to the fullest.

Her former owner, devastated by circumstances that forced the surrender, says Aurea is crate trained, house trained, wonderful with kids, friendly with cats and other dogs. She greets the world with trust, enthusiasm, and a constantly wagging tail.

What Aurea needs now is a loving forever home where she can heal emotionally, stretch out somewhere soft, and finally feel safe again. She’s not looking for pity — she’s looking for love, companionship, and someone willing to give this extraordinary girl the second chance she deserves.

Tripod dogs don’t dwell on what they’ve lost. They just keep going with courage and heart. Aurea is ready to keep going… she just needs someone beside her.

Could you provide this amazing girl with her best life?

⭐️FOSTER NEEDED⭐️

💖Meet little POLLYWOG💖— a possible Jack Russell mix with the sweetest soul. At just 20 pounds and around 4–6 years old, she’s the definition of an easy companion: calm, gentle, low-key, and wonderfully well-mannered.

Pollywog isn’t asking for much — just a soft place to land and someone to love her. While the shelter is loud and stressful, she carries herself with quiet grace, soaking up every bit of kindness she can get. She has that rare “good girl” temperament that makes everyone instantly fall for her.

She would thrive in a foster home where she can finally relax, feel safe, and show her true personality. Whether curled up beside you on the couch or trotting along happily at your side, Pollywog is simply grateful to be near her people.

This sweet little lady deserves more than a kennel. She deserves comfort, love, and a chance to be seen. Could you be the one to help Pollywog leave the shelter behind?

PAW provides all supplies and medical care — you simply provide the love, the safety, and the chance for Pollywog to feel at home.

If you can open your heart and home to this very good boy, please contact Paloma at [email protected] or Amy at [email protected], or apply online at PAW Rescue (choose any dog).
