Tobi is a gentle, curious cat with the softest fur and the kindest eyes. He’s had a bit of a rough start in life, so he can be a little shy at first—but once he feels safe, his personality truly shines. 💛

This handsome boy enjoys exploring and soft head scratches (on his terms). With a little patience and a lot of love, Tobi will become a loyal and loving companion.

Hi! I’m Arc en Ciel, or just Ciel for short! I’m a 5-month-old Great Dane, and I’m growing bigger every single day! I still haven’t quite figured out how to use my legs yet, but I’m working on it. I may look super big, but I act like a little 5-pound lap dog. It’s hard to believe, but one day I’ll be 140 pounds! Yikes!

When I’m not busy growing, I love to travel all around Maryland with my best friend, Tuslie. We even go on fun hikes together! My absolute favorite thing is running around in a big field with my pals. When I’m not out and about, I’m hanging out with my kitten friend, Kolohe. We have tons of fun!

Oh, and my mom works at Freetown Animal Hospital, so I get to meet all sorts of cool people and make new friends.

Right now, I’m working really hard in training to one day pass my public access test. I just earned a shiny medal for becoming an AKC STAR Puppy! I’m super excited to start my Canine Good Citizen training this summer!

I might be a little troublemaker at home, but every day I’m getting better and better with my training. Can’t wait to see what’s next!🐾

April 23rd is National Lost Dog Awareness Day!

Every year, thousands of dogs go missing, but with community support, social media, and proactive pet identification (like microchips and ID tags), many find their way home.

If you’ve lost a pet:
🐾 Notify local shelters and vet clinics.
🐾 Post on lost pet websites and social media.
🐾 Check with neighbors and place flyers in your area.

If you find a lost dog:
🐾 Check for ID tags and contact the owner if possible.
🐾 Take the dog to a vet to scan for a microchip.
🐾 Report the found pet to local shelters and online groups.

WOOF! Hey there, I'm Rush! I'm a German Shepherd mix with a strong personality and lots of energy. Outside! That's my favorite word. Well, maybe after "treat". I love going on walks and sniffing around the neighborhood. And those squeaky toys? Oh man, I love 'em! Even if they don't last long... While I am super loving at home, if you smell like the vet, maybe keep your distance. Just sayin'. Those trips just aren’t my thing! But other than that, I’m a pretty excited and affectionate boy, always ready to share love and have fun with my family. Oh, and by the way, my human Catherine works at Freetown Animal Hospital! So yeah, sometimes she comes home smelling like that place I try to avoid, but she always makes up for it with extra cuddles and treats!🐾🐶
