Ohana means family," and Lilo is ready for her new home! She is a mini-Aussie who is about four years old and weighs approximately 20 pounds. Lilo is as devoted as a dog can be! She wants that one special person in her life that she can follow everywhere and snuggle up with to watch TV.
Lilo is a good-natured gal who gives kisses, loves to cuddle, and gets along great with other dogs and people, but she is shy when we meets adult men, and she really prefers women overall.
She is good with older children but has not been around anyone under the age of 10 in her foster home, so it's unknown what she might think of toddlers or babies.
Lilo enjoys toys and loves to play. She chews like a puppy on chew toys and antlers, but she doesn't like hard treats like milk bones or bully sticks.
The kiddie pool on a hot day is one of Lilo's favorite places to be. She loves her bath, too, uses a doggie door, is potty-trained, and would LOVE to sleep in bed with her person, if allowed.
Her adopter should be someone who is relatively active, at home often, and has a fenced yard so that Lilo can get plenty of exercise exploring and running as needed. She is not yet leash-trained, but she is intelligent and should be a quick-learner. Another dog in the home is suggested but not required.
