Is Today My Day Rescue ITMD is a licensed, 501c3, non-profit dog rescue that strives to help homeless dogs find permanent placement in adoptive homes. Louis, MO.

We are a foster-based rescue with most of our fosters within an hour of St. Our primary service area is rural south central Missouri. After two major animal shelters/rescues in the area permanently shut their doors, resources for dogs in need in this area were few and far between. It is an area with significant canine overpopulation and few resources. We work with individuals from this area to rehome personal dogs and help place stray dogs. Our community outreach includes altering family pets to reduce the overall dog population in the area as well as providing preventative care and dog food for families in need. While our focus is rural south central Missouri, we will help any dog we can. Our dogs come from a variety of circumstances, including strays, owner relinquishes, breeder releases, animal control facilities, and dogs at risk of euthanasia.

Give a warm welcome to Kanga from the Hundred Acre Wood Litter! Kanga is an old soul trapped in a puppy body. While she is happy to pounce and bounce with her siblings sometimes, you're more likely to find her off by herself pondering the secrets of the universe. She is calm, mature, and has an easy going nature that is just so lovely to spend time with. 🐾
The Hundred Acre Wood Litter sadly was found dumped at 5 weeks old without a mother or father in sight. Because of this, we have no idea on the breed mixes or size of the parents. We do know that they are 100% amazing though! 🥰
Kanga is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations and preventatives. Puppies under 4 months of age need to have someone available to let them out at least every 4 hours to be successful with potty training.

Looking for a happy, smart, playful little companion who will keep you smiling? Meet Tater Tot, affectionately known as Little Bit! This sweet 4-year-old, 30 lb. Cardigan Corgi mix has a big personality, lots of energy, and so much love to give. ❤️

Tater Tot is a smart girl who is already potty trained, crate trained, and knows several commands, including sit, stay, outside, come here, and her personal favorite, car ride! She absolutely loves going for rides and would be thrilled to join you on your next adventure.

When she’s not cruising the town, you can find her playing with her favorite toys, running around the backyard, or enjoying playtime with her dog friends. She gets along great with other dogs and would love a home where she can have plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and burn off some of that happy Corgi energy!

Once she’s had her fun and is ready to recharge, her softer side comes out. Tater Tot loves snuggling right on your lap or curling up beside you for some quality cuddle time. She’s a wonderful combination of playful energy and sweet affection.

Like many smart, energetic dogs, Tater Tot is still working on a few manners. She’s learning to walk nicely on a leash but currently pulls quite a bit. She may also bark at other dogs and motorcycles while out walking. At home, she can be vocal when she hears other dogs, children, loud trucks, or motorcycles outside. Her future family should be prepared to work patiently with her on leash manners and alert barking.

Her foster home does not have cats, but we were told she is not a fan, so a cat-free home is reuired.

Her ideal family? Someone who appreciates a fun-loving, intelligent, energetic dog and can provide regular playtime, exercise, training, and plenty of affection. A securely fenced backyard would be a wonderful bonus!

Tigger is bouncing in to say hello! This super adorable fella from the Hundred Acre Wood Litter is silly, sweet, and affectionate. Tigger loves to be held and is a world class snuggler. He has baby blue eyes that are irresistible! 🐾
