Today I had sweet Lola Jean. She was in need of a major hair cut so she could look more like a lady like. This was my first time grooming a schnauzer and I think it went pretty well. Lola was so well behaved even while it was storming, she even peed a little in my floor to show her appreciation 😆🤦‍♀️ Thank you Megan Pruitt for trusting me with Lola Jean! Next time I'll make sure Doby is home so he can see his lady.

Meet the ferocious Teddy! Teddy is a Chow Chow, his breed is ranked in the top 10 of most aggressive dogs. Don't let this list fool you when you meet this boy. Water....terrifies him Dryer.....terrifies him Scissors, brushes, and the cow mooing across the road..... terrifies him 😆 Through all of these things he never once showed an ounce of aggression. Not a growl or tooth. His main objective was to try and escape, but after realizing my determination was just as strong, he finally gave up and just went with it. I completed this full groom with no muzzle, just patience and a little extra love. Thank you Kissie Rose for bringing your cowardly lion to me! He was so great to work with! ❤️

Today we had another regular, Ridley Foster. This sweet girl came in to get brightened up and deshedded as much as any shedding dog can get 😆. She did so well for her whole spa treatment and now we're sitting outside in this beautiful weather waiting for her mom to pick her up. Usually we would snuggle on the couch, however Doby Dean stayed home with me and he thinks shes a fine looking lady and wants to show her all the love 🤦‍♀️😉🤣 Thank you to Jennifer Foster and Alan Foster for always bringing your baby to me.

Please help me welcome to the shop Loki and Lulu!!!! These sweet babies came in today for a full work up. They are great representatives for at home care. Their mom has been giving them regular baths and clipping them so it made the process run smoothly for me as they were used to what was happening. I added a whitening shampoo so they would be gleaming white after they were done. Thank you for bringing and trusting me with your babies Jerry Doss and Jessica Doss ! They sure were precious!

On the table today we had my vacation son (iykyk) River Bass. This sweet boy needed a deshedding badly because my house and car was beginning to look like they were growing hair 😆. After a thorough bath he jumped up on the table so we could begin the process of making a fur tornado, and we did just that! In the bath he lost about 20lbs and after a high velocity dryer, he lost another 50lbs. This is not from lack of care as River is a regular at my shop, and is spoiled more than most dogs. This is normal aussie life. If youre not wanting a shedding dog these guys are not for you. But if you dont mind the fur, regular maintenance, and ultra velcro mentality you came to the right place. Thank you so much Tera Bass and Robert Bass for always supporting me in my little business venture and for allowing me to be a part of your sweet boys life ❤️

Let's welcome back Larry!!! This little nugget came back for his second spa day with me. Today's goal for me was to get his legs done as much as possible and while not perfect, they look better than the first time. For some unknown reason this normal sweet little boy turns into a pure maniac when you go anywhere near his feet with the clippers. After some breaks, treats, and eventually a muzzle we got them. Afterwards he enjoyed some more treats and playtime with River before his dad came and picked him up. Thanks Chris West for bringing Larry back. He is so stinking cute!!!

Please make welcome to the shop Stella (yorkie) and Benny (shorkie)! Their mom was tired of them dragging all the dirt in and judging by Benny's bath water, he was saving some for a rainy day 😆 I have no funny stories to go with these two because they were perfect!!!! Afterwards we snuggled on the couch waiting for their mom. (Bare with me, im terrible at taking pictures of moving objects and I always forget the before pictures) Thank you Lisa Nicholson for trusting me with your babies!

Today in the shop I had a couple of my fur nephews. I forgot to take pictures of Jasper Wilson, but here is Bodhi Samual. Anyone that knows this sweet boy knows his bark is bigger than his bite. All he wants to do is love sometimes he loves a little too hard (he broke my nose a few months ago at no fault of his own.) When I first started grooming him it was a circus 🤡 he escaped the shower and ran through the tiled bathroom like he was running from an axe murder. In my pure panic I too ran after him with my bearfoot wet feet on said slippery tile. I too saw my life flash before my eyes. Luckily I caught him and carried all 40 or so pounds back to the bathroom to finish. After a good pep talk and alot of treats, this boy is an absolute dream to work on now. He does everything like a pro and aims to please. His brother Jasper does so well too except the occasional bite when hes getting his nails done but after a bad experience from a previous groomer, I cant say I blame him. Thank you Elizabeth Westfall and Erik Westfall for always bringing your babies to me.

Today on the chopping block was Moxie. When she first got here she was a ball full of nerves. Where am I and who is this strange lady? After a few growls she finally accepted some treats and the spa day was soon to follow. She was so well behaved for her bath. Then came the dragon of death (hand held hair dryer set on cool). It swooped in, and from the look on her face she was within inches of her life being up in flames. After what felt like an eternity later she was dry and ready to be shaved down. Well except for her paws and face because when you are as cute as Moxie you make the rules and your groomer just follows them 🤦‍♀️😆. After getting her done to the best of my ability I thought ok girl lets put your collar on so your mommy can pick you up. Fat chance. She went from a cute little fur ball to a full on feral ball of fur. No collar, no bandana, no shaving of the paws or face. We were in full I'm going to bite you mode. Of course I let her have her way because who am I to go against her my body my choice motto? All in all she was a sweet girl and her mom was happy that atleast what I could get off of her face was around her eyes. Thank you Mary Holmes for trusting me with your baby! I wasnt able to get after pictures because she was over it lol
