Sonny’s big adventure! Sonny is spending a few days in a foster home where he went on a multiple mile hike, splashed around in a creek, and then sunbathed on the deck. This pup is a total sweetheart. He loves greeting new people, playing with dogs, and learning about the world!

Sonny is 7 months old, neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines. Meet him at the Grass Valley Animal Shelter Tuesday through Saturday from 12-4!

At just 6 months old, Spirit has already overcome a difficult start in life, but she hasn’t let it dim her playful, curious spirit. Like any husky puppy, she’s energetic, smart, and full of personality.
Spirit is learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She’ll thrive in a patient home that can continue building her confidence, provide training, and give her plenty of exercise and adventure.
In return, she’ll offer loyalty, love, and a lifetime of companionship.

After spending 4 months in the shelter, Mimic has finally found a loving home and started a new chapter. ❤️

Today is the day! The Book Seller is donating 20% of ALL purchases in store and online today to the animals at the Grass Valley Animal Shelter! We will be in front of the store on Mill Street from 12-3 with our silent auction item donated by Emerald Stream that you can bid on. We will also have adoptable Nova, Nacho, Sonny, and Bunny with us so come on out to meet them! We hope to see you there!

Goliath is a sweet, playful 7-month-old pup with a giant heart and an unstoppable spirit. He happens to be deaf, but that doesn’t slow him down! He’s smart, affectionate, and eager to learn through hand signals, routine, and positive reinforcement.
Goliath loves to play, explore, and be close to his people. He’s looking for a patient, loving family who will see his deafness as just one of the many things that makes him special.

📖 Fundraiser for all book lovers! The Book Seller will donate 20% of all in-store and online purchases bought all day 5/30 and online until 11 AM 5/31.

We will be in front of the store this Saturday between 12-3 with some adoptable dogs, so come meet some pups and support a local business! We hope to see you there! ❤️🐾
