Another information that I feel is needing to be shared. Spot now known as Wonder bread was put in a very unfortunate situation. The individual who got him from us became overwhelmed and rather than going through returning him to us, Wonder was placed on Craigslist and Facebook marketplace. While we understand that having a new puppy can overwhelming, this was a very sad situation. We were not informed of the difficulties. Otherwise, we would have retrieved him. Wonder was fortunately found by a Saluki rescue in Arizona. He required multiple veterinary visits and de-wormings. His streak of bad luck continued when he went to a permanent home but a medical emergency forced the new owners to return him to the the rescuer. At that point, to keep him from bouncing more homes we had made plans to bring him back to us. However, the rescuer was away in a national show for a while and Wonder was left at her home with her husband and other pets. By the time his rescuer had returned home from show wonder had firmly cemented himself into their home. And is now living his best life. He seems to have turned into very much of a therapy dog for their household. I was in contact with Wendy, the woman who rescued him the entire time.
