Gretchen is supporting her boy here in Moab, Utah as he competed in his Ultra4 race and getting second in the 170 class! She says can we pack up the motorhome now and head to Huntington Beach ⛱️ for Corgi Beach Day?! We will head home tomorrow evening to Northern California drop the trailer and head to Huntington Beach!

Yay!! Got our Gretchen girl's DNA results! She was already a match for Wilson through AKC lineage AAANNNMDDDDD She's a match through DNA! Yay!! We have a while for puppies but my goal to get more colors into our breeding program worked!!
Now just waiting on Shania (AKA WVC Black Pearls DNA results! If she's a match for Wilson we should have more healthy puppies this summer/Fall)

Still waiting for his furever ever home! Mr. Green Bean 😂 that's what the kids are calling him. He's 9 weeks old. Potty trained with some crate training. He runs around with mom, dad new auntie and friend Gretchen. He's well socialized..went to basketball yesterday and last weekend! Loves kids and really any age human 😆 He's very smart this one!! CORGIS TERMS: Lainey's "SPLOOT"
A sploot is that ridiculously cute position when a corgi lays flat on their belly with their back legs stretched straight out behind them. Like little frog legs. 🍗🐸
Corgis are basically the Olympic champions of splooting because of their short legs and long bodies — it just looks extra dramatic on them.
There are a couple variations too:
Full sploot – both back legs straight out behind.
Half sploot – one leg tucked, one stretched out.
Side sploot – legs kicked off to one side.
It’s usually totally normal and just means they’re comfy, cooling off, or stretching their hips.
Now I have to know… which one of your loafs is the biggest splooter? 😆
