🐾 Pup-date! – 8/1/26 🐾
All of the puppies are doing great! ❤️ We are starting to see their little personalities emerge. Some are calm and shy, some are confident and playful, and some seem to be a little bit of everything depending on the moment! They have all started on Purina Pro Plan Puppy Food and are doing wonderfully. They're still nursing several times a day, but Shania and Lainey are definitely enjoying the little breaks they get when they can come out of the puppy pens.
These are our first summer litters, and it's been a little challenging to keep up with photos because we've had such a busy month! Lainey's puppies were born while my husband and son were at baseball All-Star practice, and we were rushing to get to Kydon's NorCal Rock Racing event at Prairie City. Of course, we weren't about to leave the babies home alone all weekend, so they came along and got to meet all the kiddos at the racetrack! Lainey was so proud of her babies.
A few days later, Shania surprised us by delivering 10 puppies almost a week early. Unfortunately, we lost the two tiniest runts. 💔 It was heartbreaking, but we're so thankful the remaining puppies have continued to thrive.
The adventures didn't stop there! All of the puppies traveled with us to Burney, California, for our family camping trip. Shania and Lainey loved meeting campers and enjoying the campground. The puppies spent most of their time relaxing safely in the motorhome but still got plenty of socialization and snuggles around the campfire.
Later in the month, the puppies traveled back to Prairie City SVRA for another race. By then, they were old enough to be held, loved on, and cuddled by all the little racers. It was such a fun experience watching them soak up all the attention!
Now that they're getting bigger, the puppies spend their days in their outdoor play pen, and they are absolutely loving all the extra space to run, explore, and play!
Now we are gearing up for the Nevada County Fair. Preparing Livestock and decorations!
These pups are lacking in the photos but they are definitely not lacking in the socializing department!
