Helping my best friend get her pony ‘legged’ up for trail riding season 🥰

Starting my search for a used truck, though my square body is a beauty, and a beast in her own ways… I need something with a little more power and speed.

Current budget is $11k, but could come up with more if someone was open to taking that as a deposit until I can sell the ‘94

Wish list-
2010 or newer
Ford or Chevy
3/4 ton at least
4 doors
4WD
Working AC/Heater
5th wheel set up would be a bonus

I understand I’m gonna find with higher miles, prepared for the maintenance. I just need something a little more comfortable, and has the power to haul full 4 horse trailer

The end of day 3 with Ghost.

The highlight of his work day, we got an outdoor arena ride and a little exploration of cow pastures.

He then stood tied quiet for an hour or so…. But sadly was anxious when put away.

My Ghost is putting in long days, practicing being worked with, ridden, tying quietly, learning to bathe and trying to help him build the skills he needs to relax and have a little self confidence and control ♥️

I think some progress is being made… here we go for day 4… stay tuned
