🐾 Foster Needed for Mellow 🐾
We’re looking for a loving foster home for Mellow for about 3 months starting June 5th. He’s an almost 2-year-old sweetheart who deserves a safe, caring place to stay while we work through a temporary situation.

✨ About Mellow:
• Neutered/fixed
• About 50 lbs
• Very sweet and affectionate
• Good with other dogs
• Young, playful, and loving

Mellow is a really good boy who would do best with someone able to give him attention, stability, and lots of love during this short-term placement.

Every so often, there are mysterious happenings at the shelter, including why certain dogs don't get adopted! We work extra hard on taking great pictures, writing captivating promotions, and getting them into foster homes to learn more about them in the hopes we can find their forever homes. But sometimes, we need to do even more!

Bella and Mimic, Friends of Grass Valley Animal Control Shelter's two longest residents are FREE to bring home and will come with 6 weeks of FREE dog training from Take the Lead Canine Coaching to set their new families up for success!

Bella has been at the shelter for 6 months! She has been in a foster home for our sleepover program with a lovely family including a gentle child. Bella has wonderful house manners and is potty trained. She walks well on leash and she is an amazing cuddler! Bella would do best in a home where she is the only animal.

Mimic has been at the shelter for 4 months! He spends every weekend in a foster home who he has greatly connected with. Mimic is 4 years old and gets along great with other dogs. He is the perfect balance of energy and calm, wrestling with the other dog in the home and then cuddling up with the foster parent. He isn't your typical husky. He bonds well with people and it's very rare that he barks/howls.

Give one of the shelter's longest residents a chance at a great life! ❤️
