Now we have Lonestar owned by Anthony Aguilar. Man what a nice little dog. He has been here almost 2 months. He's come a long way in a short amount of time. He's got the goods. He's got plenty of Juice. He's a Mary/Drake pup. He's alot more like his daddy. He's got a head full of sense. Once he get him refined, he will be a banger of a dog. Super proud of him and his brother. The Blues Brothers. We'll call him Elwood. Lol

The forecast for this week is dangerously hot. Too hot to run dogs like we normally do. We're still gonna be going. But it's not fair for you guys to pay full price for partial service. So the next time you pay, you will pay $150 less. We do this out of integrity. We hope this is a blessing to you. You are a blessing to us. We definitely don't wanna risk getting your dog too hot. It's not worth it. We are under an extreme heat advisory for the next several days. Upper 90s and 100 a few days. And that's not with the heat index. So we're gonna back er down a hair. We appreciate you.

Tomorrow is our early goose opener. So we broke out the old C&S Custom Calls Disciple. I don't do it justice but it definitely works without being some pro caller. Kreed is doing so good. He's advancing daily like he should be. Super proudnl of the little young dog. He's gonna be a beast in the field

Well my little Zara pup went to her new home in south Louisiana. So I had to get another pup. I've been wanting another America Brittany to go with my Ella girl. And I wanted a puppy I could work with, instead of a started dog. Still haven't picked a name for her yet. She was also born on the 4th of July, just like our Daisy/Dakota pups. So i felt like it was meant to be. Super excited to have this little girl. Shes been napping on the couch this afternoon with Ms Suzie while she struggles with a migraine. So yall say a prayer for Suzie and her headache. And enjoy watching this little sweetheart grow and become birdy hopefully. If I couldn't have labs.... my other choice would be Brittanys. I think they are amazing. Not sure if I'm gonna breed Ella yet. But regardless, I've got me a little brit pup. Super excited to have this little sweetheart.

Ember girl owned by the Dreyers. Shes just come off the table. So she's figuring it all out. This is a normal response for dogs just coming off. Not sure about retrieving sometimes. Am I supposed to go? Do I still like this? Will there be pressure if I just retrieve? So we want to make it clear to them. And give them grace. But at the same time we want to maintain a standard and not lose ground we have gained from ff. Ember has got the goods. And plenty of juice. We just have to reinforce going forward what we expect. At the same time, keeping it super fun. So she understands that she DOES love the game. We will continue her obedience as we progress with the retrieve. Right now we want to pick our battles and win where we can. We can touch up stuff as we go. Once she has more confidence and clarity. Super proud of this little girl. She will have been here for 1 month on 9/2. Shes doing fantastic

If I had one more arm, I would be such a good trainer. I'm lying. I barely have enough coordination to run 2 arms. Lol. But we have Maple the great and Clifford (big dog) that's my pet name for him. He's lost alot of weight while he was at home being a house dog and having fun. So we have swapped him to inukshuk 30/25 to get him back to his fighting weight. Man these dogs are both so incredible. Clifford just got back on Friday after a couple month break. Now he's back to finish up and Maple is headed home to be the "QUEEN" that she is. Lots of folks think they have a high drive dog, til one pulls up. Maple is her daddies daughter. The incredible MOOSE monster. Owned by my buddy Curtis Winters. I swear that maples blind was cold. She just lined it. Which would have failed her at a seasoned test. Thats why we don't run seasoned tests. They have become opposite of hunting scenarios in my opinion. My point on that is..... if the dog lines em all they never have to cast. Prove me wrong. This dog lines. And she uses her nose. She is one of my favorite dogs to have come thru here in a long time. She was my pick of the litter. But I let my step daughter (only in name) have the baddest dog ever. And Maple has a life that dogs only dream of. A family that puts their dogs first. And hunts the fire out of them. So it was a no brainer for me to let Billie Rae Larkins and larkins get her. So sad to see Maple go home. But shes ready to be a dog again. And she deserves that. And Billie and Rob can continue her training and patch any holes she has as she heads home. So proud of Maple girl. And so glad to have Clifford back for transition training. Hes owned by Matt Rudesil and his wife Tiffany.

Rock star Lemon drop kiss. Lol. Man she is such an incredible dog. She just gets it. An issue arose last week when we launched ducks out of the wingers. She got confused. She was expecting a bumper and she refused to fetch. She had a little pressure in the field. But I decided to make it clear amd we went back to the table for a few days. Now it's like it never happened. Shes such a smart girl. But we needed to "proof" our fetch before we went any further with her. And she recovered perfectly. Super proud of this little dog. Can't wait to see her sitting in front of piles in a couple of weeks.
