Here is a good example of how training helps with our day to day lives. I have made the horse feed room an off limits zone. With practice I now don’t even have to say anything for them to understand the boundary. Out was my word of choice when teaching.

Mark your calendar!! Group Training class will be starting Tuesday March 11th at 6pm. Cost is 185.50 after tax. We will met every Tuesday night for 6 weeks.
This class is for dogs and puppies 4 months and older current on all vaccines.

🐾Healthy safe Socialization

Sometimes our board and train dogs make us step out of the normal of just training obedience skills. Bud does great with all his obedience commands, but can struggle with shutdown on other things. Getting in the car and seeing the leash was one. We love seeing his happy face once he sets his timid emotions aside.

Murray went home yesterday from our board and train program. His Momma sent me this video of her son working with him today. Nothing brings me more joy than to see the whole family taking part in building a better relationship with their dog!! Go Murray and Family!!! Love the combination of obedience and that he thought to add the toy for fun!!

Bungee has been doing private lessons and Daycare training. His owners have put in a lot of great work. He a very well bred field line Lab with lots of drive. Today he is working hard on his impulse control and off leash skills. It’s not 100% yet, but he makes such good progress Everytime we work on it.

Lucy had a howling good time this morning 😀

Norwich Terriers Ebby and Josie dropped off Friday for our board and train. They have settled in great over the weekend. We are going to work on taming the terror side of these two adorable terriers.

Beautiful GSD Ruby is heading home this weekend after her board and train. She had really only been on a leash a few times before coming to us. In some ways this made training a little easier as she had not developed any bad habits. She just needed to learn better communication skills. She has been a very nice easy going Shepherd to work with.
