🌟It’s - We’re super excited for our 2️⃣nd FREE microchip/vaccine clinic NEXT MONTH!!!

👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾A few things to know👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾

‼️We had an unexpectedly HUGE, more than ever before, turnout for our May clinic which led to running out of some vaccines & traffic jams. Please know that we learned from that & plan to be overly prepared & have a different set up. PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 10:30am, WE WILL *NOT* START BEFORE 11am!‼️
🐾We will be offering FREE microchips, Rabies vaccines, & Distemper (DHPP or FVRCP) vaccines! *As long as our vet believes the pet is healthy enough
🐾Dogs MUST be on safe/secure collar or harness & leash* (We prefer NO flexi-leashes, prong collars, shock collars, etc)
🐾Cats MUST be in a secure carrier*
(*We will have leashes, collars, & carriers if needed!)
🐾First come, first served - be patient & kind, we’re all volunteers here for your pets
🐾Your pets will be handled & chipped/vaccinated by volunteer vet techs/assistants & we will have a DVM on site in case of vaccine reactions
🐾If your pet has never had the DAPP or FVRCP (distemper) vaccine, they will need a booster in 3-4 weeks
🐾If you know your pet has reactions to vaccines, please give appropriate dose of benedryl ahead of time & let us know
🐾If we’re unable to handle your pet for behavioral or health reasons, we reserve the right to refuse & refer to a local clinic (we do have muzzles & treats to use as needed)
🐾While supplies last (we have enough for at least 100!) - microchips are donated by .nano & we are purchasing the vaccines/supplies!

If your pets are already chipped/vaccinated & you’d like to help, sponsor a vaccination for just $5!

📸 Another distribution Saturday in pictures, Pride edition!

🚙 Upon arrival to the pantry, we noticed we were way lower on canned dog food, canned cat food, & dry cat food than we realized! Thanks to YOU, our amazing supporters & donors, we were able to purchase enough to fill our shelves - between a order, pick up from , & delivery from , we spent just over $1200 to purchase hundreds of cans & pounds of pet food!

☀️ Because summer is such a busy time for everyone & we had volunteers at , we had a small but mighty team for distribution. We did get to see a couple of our favorite regular pups & got a photo of a clients kitty enjoying one of the toys we gave her!

🫶🏽To keep our mission going, we would love to welcome more new volunteers as well as donors. Every dollar donated & every hour of volunteer time make a difference! Please reach out if you’d like to join our team or want to help out!

We are open for donation drop off from 10am-2pm and distribution from 12-2pm! 🌈Some of our team are ALSO out at all day - stop by & say 👋🏾!

*CLIENTS: Please stay in your vehicle upon arrival & add yourself to the waitlist on our website. Follow the prompts carefully as they may have changed.

‼️We are asking folks to park on the street or in the empty lot across the street until you receive the text that it is your turn to come up to the building & pick up your items. We will only call you up when we have a parking spot available. You may use that time to also quickly look through our little free store but we will not be able to page the next family until you’re done so please only take what you need. ‼️

🏳️‍🌈🐾🏳️‍⚧️June is Pride Month! We absolutely LOVE celebrating Pride especially because HALF of our board members & several volunteers are members of the LGBTQIA+ community & the rest of our team are ALLIES! A core part of who we are at PHPFP is being inclusive, kind, & a safe space for ALL - in addition to our mission of keeping pets with their families, of course! 🏳️‍⚧️🐾🏳️‍🌈

🌈Pride events are absolutely some our favorite events to attend each year, we usually do at least 3 but as many as we’re able to do we do! However, this year, June is a little bittersweet because we are only able to attend 1 Pride event, which we are SUPER excited for, next weekend!

BUT the reason we’re only able to attend one Pride event, on top of just being a very busy time for our team, is because we will be celebrating love in another way…

💍Our founder Rachel & her fiancé Lauren are getting married on June 27th! Because PHPFP is such a huge part of her life & truly an extended family to her, many of us will be attending the wedding!👰🏻🤵🏻

We will sure miss being at & ’s Break Into Your Pride event but our PHPFP family will be celebrating Pride in wedding form!

🐶We are so thankful for CSNIP for helping us make that happen by accepting our vouchers! We can only continue to do this with YOUR support!🐱
