Today is Take Your Cat to the Vet Day!
A yearly visit for your cat, even if they are "indoor only" is very important. Not only are our vets able to evaluate their overall health, but we can also recommend lab work to help catch disease before it is too late!

Many people only take their cat to the vet when their cat is sick. August 22nd is Take Your Cat to the Vet Day and it’s a great time to remind everyone about the importance of preventive care!

Due to the recent hospital flooding, we are working hard to remediate the cause and effects. During your visit, you may notice things that don't look, sound, or feel up to our usual high standards, but rest assured, the care from our staff is the same during this time! We are undergoing a lot of work outside with large equipment, and then we will move inside to have damaged spaces repaired.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to bring you a better Old Trail!

Blue-green algae, also called cyanobacteria, is found in fresh and brackish water of ponds and lakes. This microscopic bacteria can also grow in backyard fountains, garden pots, bird baths, and anywhere water is stagnant. Regardless of where they are found, cyanobacteria can be dangerous.
